c-j
Finished watching Sakurada Reset (Sagrada Reset). I love the series for its well-thought-out blend of mystery and supernatural/super-power. I felt that every aspect of the show -- the animation, the superb voice-acting, the soundtrack -- has been carefully considered. As the series progressed, every question raised earlier has been dealt with patiently and thoughtfully, until no loose ends remained. It's a series for the patient viewer, though, who doesn't mind a slow pace and an emotionally low-key presentation.

Just heads up, the Tokyo Ghoul anime is utter garbage compared to the manga. I got into the series with the anime and I was just confused as hell the whole runtime. The second season just made it worse. If you're looking for story, read the manga instead.

It's one of the most popular anime of the decade for a reason. And an average score of 8/10 on MAL/IMDB and whatnot hardly classifies as 'utter garbage', even when compared to the manga. So, @balvorn, I suggest you just watch it and decide for yourself. Personally, I enjoyed both seasons. Scoobsheister
After a bit of time away from Anime I've recently started watching some again. Trying with some of the higher rated shows - Baccano! was pretty good and am now working my way through Soul Eater - think I'm about halfway through it. KiyoshiStar
Watching Week to Week -- Dragon Ball Super (English Dub) // I've had my likes and dislikes here and there but they've (dislikes) been pretty minor. So I'm enjoying it. Haven't watched a show/cartoon/anime/etc week to week in years, lol. Watching (Completed) Currently -- Destiny of the Shrine Maiden // Participating in the MyAnimeList '2018 Anime Watching Challenge' and one of the challenges (Watch a anime with the tag Shounen Ai or Shoujo Ai) lead to this. Didn't know it was a genre/tag to begin with, lol. It's not bad at all though, Not godsend or anything but it's not bad at all. I'm enjoying it for what it is. https://myanimelist.net/anime/143/Kannazuki_no_Miko Not sure what I'll watch after Destiny of the Shrine Maiden but I think I'll watch Overlord II (Dub) next week (01-30-18). Dagashi Kashi Season 2 (Dub) is also starting (01-29-18) but I haven't seen the first season yet. Maybe I'll binge that and watch it as well week to week. Continue watching one series as I always do at a time but also watch seasonal series week to week on the side.

Green Dragoon
I've started re-watching Inuyasha from the actual DVD, I'm trying to watch it each disc a day. I also re-watching the original Digimon (so-so), that would be the adventure one. So I miss watching these back when I was around in Elementary and Middle School. While it was on Broadcast. Good quality time to spend. Edited February 4, 2018 by Green Dragoon
thesimpson36
Ancient Magus Bride --> something really magical about this anime (no pun intended). makes me feel like a kid again. the world and characters have been superbly created. im forcing myself to not watch more than 1 episode every couple of days. otherwise id burn through it darling in the franxx --> first couple of episodes i was hooked. first klaxosaur fight was EPIC. i really like the art style. although im not too excited as i was in the beginning. not entirely sure what changed re;creators --> concept was cool but ive been slowly watching it. not terribly exciting. soundtrack is legit tho inuyashiki --> watched the first episode SPOILER ALERT ............. it was gut wrenching to watch the old timer be treated so poorly by everyone around him. had trouble getting through the first episode. Ryrynz
I'll definitely be checking out shokugeki no soma AKA Food Wars!. I'm watching Shingeki no Kyojin S3 and quite liking it so far, though there's little Titan stuff going on right now, the shock factor of them has died off so no big deal.. Previously it was Overlord, saw S1 earlier int he year, waited for S3 to finish and did S2 and S3 back to back, I do wish it was a bit darker.. but it's one of my fave animes of the year, I just like the story so much. After that I think I'll check out Berserk 2016 or Devilman Crybaby, also got a wonderful encode of Claymore from Kametu too.
