I'm gonna do a new story while I try and get the next book started, and try and do two stories.

DISCLAIMER: No one from Kametsu but I am used in this story, Any names or anything else that reminds you of people from here is due to the authors lack of Imagination and ability to be original :byebye:

Prologue

There once was a guy; a weak, gentle, scared, lowly, kind, and sometimes wise guy. He couldn't hold his own in a fight. He wasn't popular. He wasn't ever really noticed by anyone. He wasn't really the hero of anyone, but he was a good kid. He didn't harm others on purpose. He never really spoke up for himself. He was pushed around, and run over many times. He wasn't anything special. He didn't know what the future held for him. I am that Kid. My name, my name isn't important, but if you must know. My name is Kakashi, and this is my life, and how it changes.

Chapter 1

Kakashi had just gotten out of class. As he walked around the halls of his school to his locker, he saw a young lady whose face shone with the beauty of the moon.

“Hey,” Kakashi said sheepishly to one of the girls in front of him, “how's it going?” The girl he was trying to talk to ignored him and kept on ignoring him. He was used to it though. He knew no one really cared if he was doing ok, or if he even existed. It didn't matter to him though. He liked the solitude.

As he continued walking he kept his head low, doing his best to avoid eye contact. This was how he avoided talking with people. He didn't like talking, and everyone else didn't care to talk or listen to him. He didn't like dealing with people really either. He just liked watching them from time to time.

His life continued like this until one day, a new girl joined his school.

“Hello everyone. My name is Lexis Chanel. I just moved here from Japan. It's nice to meet all of you.” The new girl said with the prettiest smile.

“Welcome back to America Miss Chanel.” The teacher said, “There is a free seat by Mr. Kakashi if you would please go and sit down now.”

Lexis walked over to the seat beside Kakashi and smiled at him. She was beautiful from head to toe. She had soft white skin, long blond hair that was red at the tips. Her hair fell perfectly without her having to do anything to it. She had the face of an angel, she had soft baby blue eyes. She was kinda short but that was ok, and she had a slim hourglass shape.

“Hi, I'm Lexis,” She said in a soft, sweet tone too Kakashi. “Do you want to hang out after school?”

Kakashi's eyes widened. This was the first time in a long time someone had spoken to him let alone asked him to hang out. “I'm Kakashi,” he said shakily, “and I'd love to hand out a..af....after s..school.” Kakashi stuttered out nervously, and forced a smile.

Chapter 2

Kakashi nervously moved about. This was the first time he had hung out with someone in a long time. This was the first time he had been asked to hang out with someone, and the first time he had ever hung out with a girl! He was excited, nervous, and terrified. Suddenly all his emotions were silenced by Lexis walking up to him and grabbing him by the hand.

“Come on, let's go.” Lexis said with a big sweet smile that made Kakashi's heart skip a beat. “By the way, how well do you know this town?”

“I know it really well.” Kakashi stuttered out. “Would you me to show you around?”

Lexis nodded happily. They walked away from school, Kakashi should her where all the shops were. When they got to an ice cream shop they went inside and Kakashi bought two ice cream cones for them to eat. He should here around the park downtown, and all the sites.

“Do you want to do something Saturday?” Kakashi asked shyly.

“Yeah, is there a place around here to go mountain climbing?” She asked beaming him a bright smile that made his heart skip a beat again.

Kakashi smiled not only because she was smiling but also he normally went hiking every morning. “Yeah, I've got a place I go to every Saturday morning, but we have to leave extra early. At least if you want too see the sunrise up there.”

“Yeah, what time should we meet up?” She asked still beaming that beautiful smile.

“5:00 am, that ok with you.” Kakashi asked. She nodded yes. With their plans set Kakashi walked her back to her house. Her house turned out to be a Japanese style mansion that was recently built at the end of thhe block near where Kakashi lived. “Is this where you live?” Kakashi asked with a twitching finger pointed towards the Japanese style mansion.

“Yeah.” Lexis said with an innocent look and an inquisitive tone. “Why?”

“It's nothing, I just haven't seen a Japanese style mansion in a long time.” Kakashi said he turned back to her, “I live just down the road if you need me. Here is my address and phone numbers.” Kakashi handed her a piece of paper with his numbers written down on it. “I have to go, I'll see you at school tomorrow.” Kakashi smiled at her and walked away whistling a happy tune.

“What's up with you?” Kakashi's little sister asked.

“Nothing, I just had a good day today.” Kakashi said to his little sis as he ran up to his room to work on his school work.

...Three in the mourning Kakashi woke up, his phone was vibrating. “Hello,” Kakashi answered in a half dazed state. Suddenly he was fully alert. “Give me a minute I'll be there asap.” Kakashi said huridly as he jumped out of his bed and changed. He stormed out his front door carrying an arsenal of knives. What was this call about, and what the heck am I doing?

Chapter 3

“How the heck did I get myself into this situation?” Kakashi wondered as he sat there tied to a chair with Lexis behind him...

Thirty minutes earlier...

“Kakashi, I'm scared. I'm in the south side of town, just past the school. And I'm lost.” Lexis sobbed over the phone. Kakashi was fully awake when he heard her say, “There are this group of guys that Keep on following me.”

“Give me a minute, I'll be there asap.” Kakashi said as he jumped out of bed. He got dressed quickly and stormed out his front door. With an arsenal of combat knives hidden on him.

As he rushed through the streets and back alleys he didn't know what he was gonna do if he had to fight. As he leaped over A series of bike racks he saw a group of guys crowded someone. As he Got closer he saw the face of the person they were surrounding, it was Lexis! He charged them with a flying kick to the head of one of the guys. Kakashi landed in the middle of everyone. “Leave her alone.” Kakashi said trying to look tough.

Suddenly everything went black for Kakashi. One of the thugs had hit him in the back of the head with a baseball bat.

When Kakashi woke up his head was spinning and throbbing. “Where am I? What happened? And why does my head hurt so bad?” Kakashi wondered to himself. He suddenly remembered what had happened.

He tried moving about but he quickly realized that he was tied to a chair.

“Don't try anything. I don't want anything else to happen to you Kakashi.” Lexis said sadly. “This is all my fault.” She started to cry.

“Don't cry.” Kakashi said. “I'll be fine. I don't look it but I'm strong and fast.”

Two guys walked into the room. Once we get the money we are gonna kill you both.

“Hey can I get a glass of water or something?” Kakashi asked.

“Fine.” one of the guards said. As he got closer Kakashi kicked him in the face and freed himself from his chair. Before the other guy could react he was flat on the ground uncontentious from one punch by Kakashi.

“Let's get out of here.” Kakashi said as he freed Lexis.

They ran through the building and got outside. When they got out Kakashi knew where they were and lead them safely to her home.

“What were you doing out there any ways?” Kakashi asked Lexis.

“I was looking for my cat that ran away.” Lexis replied sadly. “She still isn't back.” Lexis said as she started to cry. Just as she started Kakashi and Lexis heard a noise behind them. “Meow” Lexis's Kitty said as it jumped into her arms from a wall it was walking on top of. Lexis' frown turned into a giant smile as she cuddled her little kitty in her arms.

“I guess I'll see you tomorrow since everything is ok now.” Kakashi said with a smile. As he walked home he thought of what a crazy day he had been through, then remembered that he had a test the next morning and sighed.

Chapter 4

The morning after they were kidnapped, Kakashi and Lexis were in Biology lab, They decided to become lab partners. Kakashi was talking to her about various things with the school, and the people there when they both heard an irritating voice from behind them, “Hello, I'm Caren. You must be the new girl Lexis.” She said with a voice that sounded like finger nails scratching across a chalk board.

Lexis turned and saw this gorgeous girl with long flowing silver hair. “Hi, Yeah I am. It's nice to meet you Caren. I just moved back to the US from Japan.”

Kakashi ignored the people behind him and continued working, until Caren started talking to him. She asked him, “So are you two dating?” Kakashi put down what he was working on and blushed a little as Lexis replied, “Yeah, he's the nicest guy I've ever met, and he's really cute.”

“Well when you want to meet real men, and cool people, just come find me.” Caren laughed.

As Caren walked away Kakashi turned towards Lexis and said, “She is basically the queen of the school. And she hates me, and since she hates me the whole school hates me.” Kakashi sighed and started working again.

“Why does shae hate you?” Lexis asked innocently.

“Because I refused to go out with her. I told her I would like to be her friend, and she wanted more.” Kakashi said trying to write down notes for the project they were working on.

“Why wouldn't you want to go out with her, I mean sure her voice is annoying but...” Lexis said but was cut off by Kakashi.

“She and I used to be good friends, we hung out every day. Then we got to high school, and she started acting weird. It was then that I realized that she wasn't the same person I once knew, she became cruel to anyone that didn't like her. And got sympathy from everyone by crying when someone didn't do what she wanted. And I didn't want to be friends with someone like that.” Kakashi said looking down at a little flower he had folded out of a piece of paper.

Lexis tried to get him to stop thinking about what they were when she saw that he was getting really depressed. “Wow, that's beautiful. Wait, I didn't know you knew Origami?” Lexis asked.

“It's one of my many secret talents. I also am good at playing guitar, piano, and singing, and recently I took up learning Judo.” Kakashi replied. “Do you have any hobbies?”

Lexis hummed pleasantly, “I'm not good at it, but I love to do Gymnastics. I also like Kung fu, Doctor Who, anime, computers and video games. I also love nerds.” Lexis blushed and Kakashi perked up.

The next morning was Saturday morning. Kakashi met up with Lexis at her house drove to the hiking trail. When they reached the top of the mountain the sun was just starting to rise.

“It's beautiful!” Lexis Exclaimed as she took in the sights.

“Not as beautiful as you though.” Kakashi said as he turned towards Lexis, “Oh,” Kakashi Took his backpack off and started digging through it. “Ah here it is.” Kakashi stood up and handed something to Lexis. “Here.” Kakashi said with blushing a little. “It's a lotus blossom, I made it for you.”

Lexis held it delicate and examined it with awe in her eyes. “It's beautiful!” she exclaimed as she hugged him.

Kakashi hugged her back and whispered in her ear, “Thank you.”

They turned toward the sun rise and found a nice place to sit down and have a picnic breakfast. As they sat there sipping hot chocolate, they started talking about what they liked, and what they do. They shared a bunch of laughs, and a lot of things in common. As they walked back to Kakashi's car they walked hand in hand. When Kakashi dropped her off at her place Lexis asked if he would like to come over for Sunday lunch and he agreed.

When he got home he walked into his house with a big smile on his face and whistling a happy tune.

“What's up with him?” Kakashi's little sister asked.

“I don't know, but whatever it is I'm glad he's happy again.” Kakashi's dad said.

Chapter 5

“Well, I'm gonna go find out,” Kakashi's little sister said.

“Don't you take another step,” Kakashi's mom ordered. “Boo, will you go see how he's doing please?”

“Certainly Dear.”Kakashi's dad said as he got up and went up stairs to Kakashi's room.

“You leave your older brother alone.” Kakashi's mom told his little sister. “You remember what happened when you started pestering him last time.” Kakashi's little sister looked away and felt sad because she thought she was to blame for what had happened long ago.

“He son, can I come in and talk to you for a minute?” Kakashi's dad asked knocking on Kakashi's door.

“Sure, come on in.” Kakashi said as he put his guitar back on it's stand and grabbed a chair for his dad. “What's up?” Kakashi asked, as his dad sat down in the offered chair.

“How have you been?” Kakashi's dad asked Kakashi.

“I'm a lot. I met this girl at school, and we started dating.” Kakashi said with a smile. “She's great. We like a lot of the same things, and she lives just down the road from us.”

Kakashi's dad sighed and smiled at Kakashi. “It's good to see you smile again. So who is the lucky lady?” he asked Kakashi.

“Her name is Lexis Chanel.” Kakashi sighed happily. “She is the most beautiful girl in the world.”

Kakashi's dad laughed. “Good for you. So your over what happened?”

“Yeah, I am.” Kakashi sighed despondently. “to be honest I actually forgot that happened.”

“It was what three years ago?” Kakshi's dad wondered.

“Yeah, three years ago today actually. Why do you ask?” Kakashi asked.

“Your mom and little sister were worried about you.” Kakashi's dad responded politely. “You probably don't want to talk about it though.”

“Actually, I need to talk to someone about it, and I don't think I ever told you the full story.” Kakashi said.

“Ok, then let's talk about it.” Kakashi's dad said. “What happened?”

Kakashi sighed, “Well, you remember Caren? And how she was once a really sweet, and a decent person?”

Kakashi's dad nodded yes.

“Yeah, at the start of our freshman year she changed. And I realized that a little too late. I had asked her out. And she tore my heart out and riped it too shreds...” Kakashi said feeling the pain swell up in his heart.

Chapter 6

“Yeah, at the start of our freshman year she changed. And I realized that a little too late. I had asked her out. And she tore my heart out and riped it too shreds...” Kakashi said feeling the pain swell up in his heart.

Kakashi's dad patted him on the back, “It's ok, you have someone else now. Someone who loves you very much. Caren doesn't matter anymore.” Kakashi's dad said.

“You're right, Dad,” Kakashi said smiling as he thought about the girl he loves. “And some day you guys will meet her.”

“I can't wait.” Kakashi's Dad said smiling. “In fact I think we should go tell everyone.”

“Will you do that, I have to work on a project and I won't have time tomorrow. I've been invited to have lunch with Lexis and her family.” Kakashi said trying to get out having to tell his family that he is dating someone.

“Haha, fine, I'll tell them.” Kakashi's dad said as he left the room.

Kakashi sighed and wondered to himself, “I wonder what happened to Caren, and how is Rex and the old gang.”

The next morning around 5:31 AM

“Bzzz, bzzz, bzzz.” Kakashi's phone rang.

“Grrr, who is calling me at this hour.” Kakashi grumbled half awake as he grabbed. “Hello,” Kakashi said drowsily and still grumbling about being woken up.

“HEY KEK!!!” Shouted a boisterous voice over the phone. “HOW YA BEEN?”

Kakshi sat up quickly eyes wide open. “Hey Rex, I was doing good until you disturbed my sleep. How about you?”

“I'M DOIN WELL. IT'S GOOD TO KNOW YOU STILL REMEMBER ME!!!” Rex shouted.

“Well, you are kinda hard to forget. Especially since you are the only guy who will call at 5:31 AM, this happy and shouting.” Kakashi replied while laughing. “What do you need this time?”

“WHAT MAKES YOU THINK I NEED ANYTHING? CAN'T A FRIEND JUST CALL AN OLD FRIEND JUST TO TALK TO THEM?” Rex said in an offended tone.

“Not if it's at 5:31 In the morning!!!” Kakashi yelled. “Then again we are talking about you, Rex, You would do it anyways. It's good to hear from you man.” Kakashi said as he leaned back in his bed.

“It's good to talk to you too. And I was wondering are you free to hang out later today?” Rex asked.

“Not really, I am having lunch with my girlfriend and her family. Maybe tomorrow.” Kakashi said, “I'll even bring My girlfriend with me to meet you and the rest of the gang.”

“You have a girlfriend, Man, you gotta get me up to speed.” Rex said.

So they talked for a couple of hour about what's been going on and Kakashi's new girlfriend. They talked about plans for hanging out later. Then Kakashi looked at his clock, “Well, I have to start getting ready, I have other things to do. I'll see ya later man.” Kakashi said.

“Ok, I'll see ya man.” Rex said and hung up his phone.

Kakshi got up and took his shower and got ready to leave and run some errands. “Bye everyone, I'll be home later.” Kakshi said as he left his house whistling a happy tune. Little did he realize that He was being followed by four masked figures who were hiding in the shadows...
