Coz they are literally starting out for sake of beginners.Watch it onwards and be amazed coz seriously lol this anime is one of the tops to watch especially in english dub! Koby Posted October 19, 2010 Report Share Posted October 19, 2010 Personally I find that most long running series the first arcs are usually the best.Naruto, Bleach, Yuyu Hakusho, One Piece, etc..Only a few like Hitman Reborn start off badly but then become something great.I actually enjoyed the beginning of One Piece a lot more than I have more recent episodes that I have seen, around 130-140. lordofelemental Posted November 7, 2010 Report Share Posted November 7, 2010 well after reading manga again (about 20 chapters behind the latest). i was shocked on the next things too be happen on the series.. one piece does really get better, it's not biased but i just can't describe the way the i feel when i watch the episodes and when i read the manga. Arabasta really dragged for a while and I'm near the end of skypedia now (in the flash backs) and I'm really ready for it to be over. The fights keep getting better and better though. zephray Posted February 14, 2011 Report Share Posted February 14, 2011 I started reading/watching the fansubbed/scanlated one piece back in early 2004. and i have got to say that every arc since the beginning, it has always gotten better. this is the only series i've ever read that doesn't have ANY low points whatsoever. it's constantly getting better and better.
