Koby
Hey Everyone,I purchased a vBulletin owned license for $160. I then began to download the software, upload it, and convert our SMF MySQL Database to it. After that was done I then needed to edit pretty much every setting of the forum and ol' boy does vB have tons of settings. =PAnyhow after finishing with that, I decided to install a couple modifications to the forum. Here is a list of what has been installed:http://www.vbulletin.org/forum/showthread.php?t=122986 - Cyb Advanced Statisticshttp://www.vbulletin.org/forum/showthread.php?t=119572 - Welcome Headershttp://www.vbulletin.org/forum/showthread.php?t=133366 - Check Version for all Hackshttp://www.vbulletin.org/forum/showthread.php?t=136254 - Require X Posts to Use PM Systemhttp://www.vbulletin.org/forum/showthread.php?t=114012 - v3 ArcadeSo I hope you like the new forum and it's features. With that said, all new members will need at least 5 posts before being allowed to use the Private Message System. You must also have at least 5 posts to play in the Arcade! Also please read this thread: Your Input on a Couple ThingsAnd give your input on the idea's place there.-Koby. yoyoyo-2
I like it, kinda would prefer a newer version of IPB but VB is kickass aswell. Grr, I see everything was transfered over (Topics posts and polls), I wish we could have started from scratch >_<.
† Koga
Why start over? I think this a better than IPB. We finally got some security in here. I am, however not happy about something. The spell check is gone. You guys know I can't spell. Maybe we should set the FMv7 as the default skin so everyone won'y be looking at the vB default skin. Download the latest version of FireFox, it automatically does spell check when your typing in a text area and underlines words spelled wrong, then you can right click then select the correct one. Mujklob
O.o. Ah, I like vBulletin much better than SMF. Congratulations on the purchase, Koby. I hope that it will pay off for you in the end.

The spell check is gone. You guys know I can't spell. Maybe we should set the FMv7 as the default skin so everyone won'y be looking at the vB default skin. The FMv7 is hidden from regular members. Only us admins can see it.. I wish I could have hidden it completely. We aren't using it yet because I am still working on it. It's the first vB skin I've ever worked on. When I finish it, then it will be default. But I happen to really like the default vB skin too. xDAs for spell checker, yes you should use Firefox anyhow.. It's the #1 recommended browser from website owners. Because for one, it displays the site how it was coded (unlike IE, which displays it how it thinks it should). Also like yo-yo-yo2 said.. it has a spell checker. =PBut yo-yo-yo2.. I see no reason in restarting the forum.. O.o And thanks Mujklob.
Laia
It will be nice when a custom skin is available for us to enjoy. I'm personally a fan of IPB, and I always will be because I'm so used to it... however, I can tolerate vBulletin, and a change in features is ultimately refreshing. You can change to it via the dropdown box at the bottom of every page or in your profile options I believe. And I am working on a custom vB skin.. but it's my first skin ever in vB, and I'm more worried about getting some other stuff done then rushing on it. xD

Azerty
Congrats on finally getting vBulletin Koby. Now all that's left is getting a nice custom skin. This default one is hurting my eyes. LOL
Koby
Really? I happen to really like the default skin.. however I am working on a custom design. =P
Mujklob
Hmm, I don't mind the default vBulletin skin at all. It's not that bad. I don't think I've ever seen a vBulletin skin that that looked decent besides colour modifications of the default.
Mafuu
vBulletin.. I like it. I really like the default skin aswell, I think people don't like it because it's an actual default SKIN!
Linoud
I like the default skin, but a custom one would indeed be nice.
-PHXN- New001
I second Linoud. This looks nice and clean, but so does every default I'd love to see something with a little sumtin sumtin in it.
