Vande
Since MyAnimeList is just sucking with updating properly (even with a forced update), i'm starting to get fed up. So is there a good alternative out there to MAL that anyone can suggest?
CardGames
MAL has also been really annoying with the constant Incapsula problem that they seem to refuse to fix.

lemmingllama
I haven't had any issues lately with MAL, it takes about an hour for the new stats to show but no other problems. Anyways, AniDB is always another one to look at.
Ari-Yang
I recommend aniDB.
JimDaddy
I've had tons of problems, but it does keep my list. If all you want is a community and list keeper- There's two, both relatively new: Hummingbird.me (which still has no manga list yet) and Anilist.co . Honestly, MAL is still the best IMO, but given some time- Hummingbird and Anilist will surpass it easily. Here's what I want. I want sig that'll keep up with what I watch/read without me having to hit a stupid update button to force it to update the sig, which still takes a few hours to do it IF it updates at all. The last time I did it, it never updated. Edited April 24, 2014 by JimDaddy
Tsukumo Yuma
Every time I use it it freezes and never moves after a while. On other times it says error a lot and logs me out, and it won't log back in until I close the browser.Earlier when I first joined, it said error and that I was banned even though I didn't even post anything at all yet, I just added 10 shows to my list, then a week later it let me back on the site. JimDaddy
Yeah. Essentially all MAL does for me currently is keep my lists, which I periodically export and import to Anilist. I may switch completely over at some point as MAL seems to have fairly constant issues and that diesn't seem to be resolving itself anytime soon. † poetictragedy
There's also Anime-Planet. I like that one just based on ease of use.
JimDaddy
Does it have manga stuff too? That's what breaks it all for me.
Vande
Thanks for the suggestions. On the MAL forum someone told me to remove the cdn. from the signature and it now works again. (for now)

(for now) Yeah, mine refused to update. I might try it again at a later point, but loli gif sig is so much better right now.
Koby
aniDB is the original, and it's the site ALL fansub/release groups use to submit their encodes so people can compare etc. I don't use it to list my anime though, but it does list Kametsu's work. I think they also have auto-updating signatures, but I've never used it, so don't quote me on that, haha.
Nintendon't
I wouldn't mind MyAnimeList so much if they didn't have such a hard on for the original Japanese names. It's ridiculous how I have to actually click on some shows on my list to know what they are. Like how they call Spice & Wolf "Ookami to kooshoey whatever the fuck" instead of just calling it by it's official name.http://myanimelist.net/anime/2966/Ookami_to_KoushinryouI mean what the hell?, seriously.
