I do plan on changing the LCD screen to a Samsung IPS screen that is used by some workstation laptops and MSI gaming ones. The one I have is a total piece of shit TN panel (bad viewing angles and colour reproduction), though the latency is about ~3ms, compared to the IPS panel which is about ~16ms (one of the lowest ones I can find). I can change the color, make it 'breathe', make it 'marquee', or just make it rainbow. It's not too bright for me. Doesn't bother me in a dark room and I even sleep just fine with it on but yeah I can turn the light bar off if I wanted. My gfx card has a small led on it but it's red... and my coolers fan unfortunately has red blades too... but it's fine. I've got my liquid cooling setup with a push-pull system in the back. Two fans up front pulling air in, one fan up top pushing air out, and my psu fan going out the bottom.
