And how do you handle the TLERless drives? With the controller?

Yep remember NAS and other styled drives are semi new, you have a real RAID contreoller and you dont need those drives, they can be handy but with the right controllers they arnt needed you need just enterprse drives if anything nothing more then that

seriously you paid to much for 2x250GB SSDshould of just got a high end 480GB and call it a day, should of just stuck with onboard NIC, and i dont see the point in 2 GFX cards when you should of just got a Titan X or so bet that set you back 6k because intel crap, also you give some brands on some things wile leaving other stuff not stated, like also what do you have as far as a screen setup ? just 1 screen? 2? i am rocking 4 screens myself mmmmmmm screens

Got this laptop awhile back, guess I will just post the specs. I do plan on changing the LCD screen to a Samsung IPS screen that is used by some workstation laptops and MSI gaming ones. The one I have is a total piece of shit TN panel (bad viewing angles and colour reproduction), though the latency is about ~3ms, compared to the IPS panel which is about ~16ms (one of the lowest ones I can find).

As with all PC/Laptops I get, I go through a checklist such as stress testing, undervolting, overclocking, reinstalling to vanilla OS and etc.

Manufacturer: Lenovo

Model: Y50-70
CPU: Intel core i7 4710HQ -90mV UV @ 3.5GHz
RAM: 16GB DDR3L 1600MHz
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 860M Maxwell 4GB OC @ 1.233GHz Core 6.27GHz Memory
Storage: Samsung 850 EVO 500GB SSD with Rapid Mode Enabled
Display: Chi Mei CMN15C4 1920x1080
Mouse: ELAN Pad + Logitech G400 Gaming Mouse
Keyboard: Red Backlit AccuType Keyboard
Sound: JBL Speakers with Dolby Advanced Audio V2
Wireless: Intel Dual Band Wireless-AC 3160 + Bluetooth 4.0

lMeAHsL.jpg?1Built a new PC yesterday!

http://pcpartpicker.com/user/ChaoXide/saved/gpXD4D
AMD FX-8350 4.0GHz 8-Core Processor
Corsair H55 57.0 CFM Liquid CPU Cooler
Asus M5A97 R2.0 ATX AM3+ Motherboard
Corsair Vengeance 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1600 Memory
Western Digital Caviar Blue 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM
MSI Radeon R7 370 4GB Video Card
NZXT Source 220 ATX Mid Tower Case
Corsair RM 750W 80+ Gold Certified Fully-Modular ATX Power Supply
LG WH14NS40 Blu-Ray/DVD/CD Writer
x3 Thermaltake CL-F038-PL12BU-A 40.6 CFM 120mm Fan

It was a budget build I decided to do. Didn't want to spend as much as I did on my last build, but felt it was time for a new build since my last was nearly 4 years old. Opted for the WD Blue over an SSD for this build due to price as like I said this was more a budget build than anything. I think I did really well though for the price IMO.

16 hours ago, SakuraChan said:

you know Koby, that shit is just to damn bright! disable them lights or you prefer i stomp you with my rigs/servers/etc

Aside from the 3 fans with lights, there is only one light bar installed and it's software controlled. I can change the color, make it 'breathe', make it 'marquee', or just make it rainbow. It's not too bright for me. Doesn't bother me in a dark room and I even sleep just fine with it on but yeah I can turn the light bar off if I wanted.

My gfx card has a small led on it but it's red... and my coolers fan unfortunately has red blades too... but it's fine. I've got my liquid cooling setup with a push-pull system in the back.  Two fans up front pulling air in, one fan up top pushing air out, and my psu fan going out the bottom. The air coming out everywhere is cold. =) So it's doing it's job.
