I thought that with the English dub (like most e-dubs), you lost a good 15-20% of the experience.

Massive disagreement here....i spent forever getting the original English dub of Laputa Castle in the Sky (the 86 Steamline one, not the much later Van Der Beek one) and for me the dub only adds to the experience.

The main reason I love movies produced by Studio Ghibli is the fact that you can tell how myuch effort and time it has taken to put together the movies. I really loved Ponyo and SpiriteD AwaY, and Arrietty was quite enjoyable too~

It's just the fact that Studio Ghibli creates fantastic films that makes me want to watch each one they produce.

I half Agree lol!!! But Princess Mononoke is my Fav.

The first Ghibli film I saw was "Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind" when it came to the US in the 1980s. Back when they edited it to death. Rented on a VHS. Now I own the correct version, which is a whole lot better than the 1980s version, with almost all the other films on DVD/Blu-Ray.
