layhoma
For those of you with this favorite genre in mind, place them in an octagon and who do think will be last standing. For a more amusing scenario, there will be no wrestling or submission allowed.
† RazorDan
Jet Li, hands down I love Jackie but Jet Li would kill him imo
Koby
I'd have to go with Jet Li as well. He just always seemed to be more serious with his martial arts. Jackie was a bit more comical.
† Mute point
Wrestling and submission are part of martial arts too. Regardless, no matter if you allow them or not. Jet Li.
AaronScythe
Both of them have many many styles to consider, but I think I'll work off their main style, the one they keep going back to.Jet li: wushu, PREFERS NON SPARRING ROLE - limited time activityJackie chan: Hapkido - Endurance/technique based styleI've looked up a fair bit, I think what would likely happen is that Jet li would have the initial edge due to youth and unpredictability, but less endurance than the chan man would lead to his ultimate downfallVictor: Jackie Chan due to endurance based fighting styles. Wont be easy though.
Drake
Hmmm... The only 2 Jet Li movies Ive seen are The One and Mummy 3.Im with Koby's opinion on their fighting styles. Jackie's style uses mental tricks to confuse or daze his opponent, while Jet just goes for the kill...Guess Ill go for.... Jet?
Ayrtoo
Jackie only really uses his skills for martial arts as a bonus for his career.Jet Li is the clear winner unfortunately :/
ribbit3
it really amazes me all the jet li choices, to be honest. I definetly say jackie chan, he's far more interesting and we see more specifics with him, and if worst comes to worst he could always make jet li laugh to death. there was actually a movie that had both of them in it, but it wasn't that great. zx0
I love Jackie Chan, he is one of my heroes, However Jackie learnt martial arts for display in Opera, whereas Jet Li learnt martial arts for fighting.Jet Li would win for sure, plus Jackie is getting on a bit
greencowpat
I think people are forgetting DRUNKEN STYLE! Jackie would win hands down =)
lemmingllama
I think people are forgetting DRUNKEN STYLE! Jackie would win hands down =)Fighting drunk really doesnt work at all... You just end up falling over and the unpredictability of swaying is easily countered just by doing a bit more telegraphing or just being fast. Jet Li at his finest would wipe the floor with Jackie Chan if Jackie was drunk
Warx
Hmm, I'd go with Jackie Chan. He know various styles of martial arts compared to Jet Li.

Reptoholic
The parts they play in movies are always so different. Jackie is always more comical while Jet Li is always more serious. I think it would have to depend on the circumstances and the resources available. Also if they were same age or not. Real life is different than fiction.
