† Sicka
I used to prefer having an actual copy of something, but in the last year or so i've moved more and more to digital stuff. The CD store i used to shop in since i was a kid (Sellanby) closed down a few years ago, then Woolworths, now HMV. I don't think there's anywhere left in my area to actully buy decent CD's anymore except ordering them online.
Kyle_Dimetri
I'll buy movies IF ITS GOOD (love the Dark Knight) and games that are exclusives for the ps3 or just isn't on windowseverything else pirated Edited February 15, 2013 by Kyle_Dimetri_09
Techrayder
Depends on what it is, but if I really enjoy it and want to support and/or collect it..... Hard copy all the way. I'm also quite the stickler for getting anime on Blu Ray. I almost won't buy it if its a DVD only lol.
Alice
It really depend for me. Al my movies are retail. My anime is split 50/50, depending on what I can find on DVD and what hasn't been released on DVD. Some I just can't afford right now, but working on that. I just bought Maid-sama and K-ON complete. Music is all digital...I don't have enough room for music CDs.

Tsukumo Yuma
I like Physical copies, it is more reliable than digital copies.besides, for some people, if you want a digital copy, you can just rip you hard copy. PS, I like VHS and DVD best. Edited March 9, 2014 by Tsukumo Yuma
Kenzou
All my movies are physical copies and also my games. My anime is mostly digital since I don't have the money to buy every anime set that comes out yet I do own some anime sets on dvd.

Dewdropmon
I prefer to own physical copies of things I buy over digital ones although I will watch or listen to a digital copy of something first to see if I like it. That also extends to novels. I much prefer paper and print books to ebooks.

Dewdropmon
i can buy food from my computer / computer hardware on ebay / books on amazon and never have to leave my house That doesn't really answer the question posed in the OP though. That only says how you purchase stuff, not if you prefer to own physical copies of things like movies and books or digital copies.

Anon316
I prefer Retial as I like to feel like I own my items aswell as take them around and share them easily... with Digital most of the time, you can only use the item on the same media.
