swallow6
I've tried a lot of AVs and feel kaspersky is the best overall security kit.
darthkrs
Bit Defender is the best, not as light on resources as kaspersky but have great functionality and us very user friendly.

Zevinity
Currently, I use Microsoft Security Essentials. It has worked pretty well for me. If there's something it doesn't take care of, I end up using Malware Bytes or Combofix.

ForgetMe
I'm using Kaspersky. Had just uninstalled TrendMicro. Don't know how to use it.
hawkdude
I've been using MSE for a while now and been pretty happy with it (all about free). Also used to do a malwarebytes scan every once in a while too, but haven't in a while. Might buy it eventually. I've also heard good things about NOD32 and Avast

fallethix
Don't really know if it's the best, but I've been using ESET Smart Security 5 for years and have never gotten infected.
ameanberg
Hitman Pro is in some sort of other league (But it's mainly for just scantime detection).Avira is some sort of beast in realtime detection but is EXTREMELY sensitive (So unless you've got some dedication to constantly checking on the 100+ notifs it gives you then you should use ESET instead). It's funny how MANY years ago it was Norton...
