It doesn't exactly lock the characters to their part of the sphere grid, but to get to other parts, characters have to finish their part of the grid... Here without the expert system we were free to do anything and as a result some characters were useless because you could make your favorite three characters do everything the others could. Though I usually used Tidus, Lulu, and Auron. But once I got to where I could give the people anything I got rid of Lulu for Kimahri. LOL Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I've never heard of an expert Sphere Grid ???Well, I'm use the basic one and I just love the Sphere Grid in the game. It was so quick and easy to learn.
