sarahjakecullen Posted December 4, 2011 Report Share Posted December 4, 2011 I'm really not sure if it was Pokemon or Sailormoon (airing in Australia) back when I was a kid. I didn't know that they were called 'anime' or that they came from a different country and were just dubbed in my language. So after that I didn't watch any till I saw Castle in the Sky when they aired it on tv in Australia a few years ago. I'd always loved Batman the Animated series with Mark Hamill doing the voice acting so when I heard him in CitS, my interest was piqued... Then came along checking out Sailormoon again (at first for nostalgia's sake)... which led to watching the whole series... I didn't really watch anymore till a guy I met last year (boyfriend) asked if I watched Bleach and FMA.... rest is history! But while the others came first, I wouldn't consider them the ones that started me on the path of anime... it was Bleach and FMA though Sailormoon was a lead up.And now you know more than you ever would want to.
