Sasuke is a crybaby. Always going on about his terrible childhood.

Naruto had a depressing childhood too. And does he sit and cry?

No! He aims to better his life! To make better memories.

Sasuke just keeps digging the hole deeper.

I can't stand his character.

Have to greatly agree with you here. Naruto has the personality and the strength to get over some things and look to the future instead of dwelling on things in the past like Sasuke does. But yeah, Kupo pretty much covered what I had to say xP

Sasuke because hes got the chidori, natural talent, Orochimarus training, and the Curse mark

Rasengan was proven to be stronger when they both hit the water tanks, natural talent only goes so far (as proven with Rock Lee kicking Sasuke's butt in the original series), Orochimaru's training didn't really do a whole lot, and I think Itachi got rid of the Curse Mark (might be wrong on this but I don't recall it being used since he expelled Orochimaru). So.. none of your points are really valid.

If he was looking only at the Chuunin Exams or just in the aftermath, then his judgement would be true. Assuming that Naruto didnt use the Nine Tails at all

As proven with their fight at that time... they were on equal terms. However looking only up to the Chuunin exams or just right after would be really pointless in judging their strength as that was nearly three whole years ago and they went from being on equal power of Genin ready to become Chuunin.. to now being two of the top 3 ninja in the entire world. It just wouldn't be right to compare them how they were so long ago.

This is true. However I was just attempting to justify his claim. Also, you are slightly wrong. Their fight was after Naruto learned Rasengan, which he didnt know during or immediately after the Chuunin exams

Well even during the Chuunin exams Naruto was superior to Sasuke. Sasuke froze against Orochimaru and Naruto had to save him. Sasuke failed to defeat Gaara and Naruto ended up having to do so.

During the Chuunin exam the one who was supposedly the best of the Leaf village Genin was actually Neji. Naruto beat him through sheer determination to never give up. Sasuke likely would have lost had he fought Neji.

Actually when you think about it.. the entire original series was full of Sasuke failing. Even against Haku it was Naruto who saved Sasuke and that was the first major arc of the series.

As for you calling me wrong. Perhaps you should try reading my post again. I never claimed their fight happened 'right after the Chuunin exam'. I only stated that when they finally did fight it was proven they were equal. Sure Sasuke was the one to walk away, but then Naruto wasn't actually trying to kill him either so unlike Sasuke he held back in the end.

Again this is true. I do agree with what you are saying, just playing Devil's Advocate for fun. And I did mention that we were also assuming that he didnt use the Nine Tails. Naruto was only able to beat Gaara and Haku, as well as fight Orochimaru, because of the Kyuubi's power. So without it then at that time he had almost no good skills worth mentioning

The Kyuubi's power is Naruto's power. It's a part of him just like his natural chakra. To not use it would be the exact same as holding back and would therefore not accurate judge his ability. So saying without it blah blah blah is completely unfair. If we took away his ability to use it we might as well take away his opponents ability to use chakra period to make it fair. Lets not forget also the uneven seal Naruto often had placed on him which disrupted his chakra flow which is also what gave him such a hard time. The fact he was able to fight on equal ground despite that fact just goes to show how much potential he really had considering he had practically been fighting with a handicap more or less.
