SChristine
I just saw a five second glance at some new show on adult swim called Kekkaishi. So anyone know what it's about? Should I take the time to watch it? All I saw was two old people fighting and some kid watching them.
Medora
It seemed you watched even less than me. I thought it was obnoxious with all the over-the-top reactions with a lot of over-the-top backgrounds in just a few minutes of conversation between what I assume to be the main character, the male kid, and his... grandpa. Also, it seemed like your generic magic school fighting monsters. And oh, it seemed hinted that the kid has innate uber-hax ability. You know, he's The One. Just like in Bleach where the main character spends a year (or a few?) doing what all the Captains he ends up surpassing took decades to accomplish. If it's going that route, I'll hardly be impressed. That's what I gathered in the few minutes I watched. Of course, I could be way wrong, but that's how first impressions are. Koby
I'm not even sure why Kekkaishi was licensed. When it came out in Japan, I passed on watching it because it seemed uninteresting and crappy. That said, I will not be watching the dub for it either. So pass.
Kid Ryan
I loved the dub for it, as well as the show itself, I really hope someone uploads and posts Episode 1 here !
†ParasiteEve
Yea it didn't look that good and it had a very over done storyline, can't say I liked the animation either. Figures the first new anime they get in awhile isn't any good X,x

I said that... yet somehow I ended up downloading it anyways. Still haven't started watching it though but I do plan on doing so eventually. Skimming through it.. it seems to give me Avatar ~ The Last Airbender vibes for some reason.. o.O

Kid Ryan
I love the show and it's dub, I'm waiting for episode 37 to air this weekend....
tigerwarrior61
I watched the first few episodes, did not like it, I also read through most of the manga, did not like it. Everything drags out for too long and nothing progresses. (Probably because I'm too impatient)
†Apollo
I actually love it. I watch it every Saturday night.

ragnawind
I have seen every episode since the dub started. I tried the first episode subbed before it started airing and didn't like the sub, but the dub is fine. I also like the show. It progresses better later on after the first quarter or so of the series.
Kid Ryan
The only thing that sucks about the anime, is that it does not cover the manga entirely, the anime ends at the end of the kokoburo arc, whereas the manga is several arcs ahead of the anime..
