Is it based off book one is my first question and I wanted to know if Shamlan will screw it up or ad a twist like he does in all the horror movies of his.(personally I don't really like many of his movies. In the cartoon they could wave their hands in the air and have it at their finger tips.The different races of people was new. Though I thought it was a bit in accurate, in the cartoons the fire benders had the house and city designs that looked more similar to japan then india, but I could be wrong since I haven't seen much indian culture.The movie crammed the first book of the air bender cartoon into one movie, it was nicley done, but it was to rushed to really understand the individual characters.I liked it, but was let down. If you look at the critical acclaim for his films in the last decade, it's almost laughable. I really hope he doesn't get to film any sequels.
