BANNER OF THE MONTH: FEBRUARY

 

RULES:

• All entries are to be submitted by February 21.
  
• Voting will take place between February 22 and February 28.
  
• There is no theme this month: anything goes!
  
• Only one entry per participant. However, you may edit your entry until the deadline.
  
• Banners must be your own work.
  
• Entries can be in GIF, JPG, JPEG or PNG format, and should be 860 (or more) x160 pixels, with transparency on the right side. Animated banners are allowed.
  
• Pre-made banners are allowed, as long as they have not been used in a past Kametsu competition.
  
• Please read all Graphical Division Rules and Forum Rules before entering. All rules apply.

Define global? It's posted about in the status updates and the thread is accessible to any user. Also the banners from past competitions are displayed at the top of every page.

See, on the other forums the contest is pinned to every part of the forum so people who are entering the downloads section see this competition at the very top (pinned) and they can participate and some get interested enough to enter themselves. I know the thread is available to everyone but sometime I find it hard to get to it (because I'm lazy and I'm used to the easy stuff ) I know the status updates are a way but by the 2nd day that status is gone from the viewing section.

 

 

I haven't even seen the signature thread yet xD

Hopefully when I have some free time I can give it a go ^^

Well I don't know about pinning it to every section of the forum. I'm not sure if that's really necessary or even possible. Either way, I don't understand why this thread would be difficult to find. We pin our contests, so once you're in the contest corner, they'll be at the top. If someone isn't seeing it because they aren't even looking at the contest corner, obviously they aren't interested in graphics contests anyway, and then does it really matter?

Also, it's not like the forum is that huge anyway, especially now that we've kind of trimmed the fat and got rid of most of the subforums. The graphics section wasn't really trimmed down, but my point is that Kametsu is not that huge, and there is like no excuse to not be able to find something so easy to find.

You need transparency on the right side.  Look at the other entries.
