It'd be nice to know what kind of animes you like and wether you want a LONG series or just a 12 episode anime to watch

Try Cowboy Bebop or Soul Eater or maybe Fullmetal Alchemist. You can't go wrong with those series. But, if you don't like those I usually try random searches on anime sites.
