gun-dam
He does fight a couple of main enemies in the anime... one of the arrancars and one of the shinigami in the soul society
emiliotheplayer
It's true. We don't really bond with him because he barely says anything for personal development. Even though his power is rare, it's not powerful, even though I was really impressed when I first saw his diablo arm.i think so too.
Liz
I just feel sorry for characters like that, they are there to be used and abused in a way. I mean his power is kind of limited but that is my opinion... He does add to the array of characters in the anime though...
mikek12003
Do not see him participating to any major battles, unless he got some major power up he will be just another secondary character
kinggrimm
Chad is useless now he's only there to show how much ichigo's improved.
av33
Its not just Chad, most of the characters haven't really improved, whereas ichigo is way overpowered
abhirup
i think chad was created like the stereotype big power..no brain type..though he is nt so big in his powers...

TTNH
In my opinion there's no point in having him. He's there to protect Ichigo but he ends up getting beaten in the end.I definitely got annoyed at what he did to Ichigo during the Lost Substitute Shinigami Saga and definitely describe him as useless during that point. Asce
Much like the rest of Bleach, Chad is going to end up being an unanswered question and another hole in the plot. Too bad, I kind of liked Chad.
Gedo Mazo
The best thing Kubo could do for Chad now, is to kill him off as quickly as possible. He suffered enough humiliation. There's no point in trying to power him up at this point, only to have him be owned a few secounds later.
crashed-ice
I liked chad in the first season... after that he seemed much more like a filler.
megafangirl002
I will give him some credit for fighting in Hueco Mundo and having Ichigo's back, but he is definitely one of my least favorite characters. I feel like his blah personality doesn't let people connect with him.

Kurren123
Chads slow and monotone voice is so BORING. Sends me to sleep
Limayem
chad is strong but slow and that makes him the defensive character so he's not that bad I expect him to become stronger after the fullbring arc
Gedo Mazo
Chad just neds to fully develop his powers and I'm sure he problably will get really strongChad the Present fodder. So far all he does is Showing up for a couple panels to talk or have his attacks blocked, that's how Kubo been using him.
