shyguysteve
i think its super fun to learn that a voice actor in one of your favorite animes is also in another.like the voice of jiraiya in naruto is also zaraki from bleach.and ichigo from bleach was sasori in narutothe voice of itachi, that guy has a super long list of voices he does. from anime to cartoons he is like part of anything animation almost.oh shit i cant forget to mention that mark hammel the man who played luke skywalker from star wars is also the joker from batman the animated series. and is also firelord ozai from the last airbender.main point of this thread is who notices this without looking it up on google or wiki.also did anyone catch that kakashi from naruto is the voice of fulgoray on zatchbell?also the voice of zatch bell is the voice of jimmy neutron.that one was really easy to figure out but i like that actor he did well as zatch. J-Lord
This is one of my favourite things to find out when I watch an anime, I get excited when I find a voice actor doing another voice in another anime. for example:Kyle Hebert: Gohan (Adult) (DBZ), Kamina (gurren lagann), Kiba (Naruto)Yuri Lowenthal: Simon (Gurren Lagann), Sasuke (Naruto)Thats just two of my favourite actors, and i find many more that excite me! ZeroPenguins
Actually I find this very annoying! Too many same voice actors with english dub anime, it's like they can't hire anyone else and use the same people on every freakin anime. Sometimes I like subs better. Too many same voice actors with english dub anime, it's like they can't hire anyone else and use the same people on every freakin anime. Sometimes I like subs better.cause nobody else is good enough, there are some anime eng dubbed voices that just dont fit, with common actors like the ones that do work with shonnen jump manga based anime, can do the character some justice.like fairy tail, those eng voice actors arent worth comparing to these guys.i agree about subs though, the jap voices have more feeling. Dan Den
Actually I find this very annoying! Too many same voice actors with english dub anime, it's like they can't hire anyone else and use the same people on every freakin anime. Sometimes I like subs better. The same goes here. They use the same voice actors for allot of series, but over time you get used to it and adapt. Like the guy who voices for Alan (D.Gray Man) is the same one for Natsu (Fairy Tail) and now days I don't have much of a problem with it. But when you keep hearing the same voice in many series then it starts to get annoying but I have yet to reach this state.
Reptoholic
Ikkaku in bleach is in a lot of shows. Utawarerumono, Vampire Knight, Ouran Host Club...... I have seen him in a few other, but can't think of the names.
TurboDuel
Greg Abbey voiced Tristan in the original Yugioh. Then in Yugioh 5DS he was the voice of Yusei. I personaly think that that was a serious upgrade for Mr. Abbey.
marcusgainer
I hate english voice actors typically, But I think it's really interesting seeing what voice actors did what, or recognizing an actors voice <
FF3710Freak
I like comparing the characters that people play, its rather amusing when you find similarities between them.
Shinato
I love learning that some brilliant voice actors are in several animes. My favourites are Micheal j Tatum, Vic Mignogna, Johnny Yong Bosch and Jason Liebrecht. There's generally at least one of these in all of the better anime which is lucky for me. You can always notice that it's them speaking when you see a new character, but I usually verify it with Wikipedia
BlackLolitarose
I usually don't like english voice actors (mainly because they're the same almost everywhere you go) but I really like Vic Mignogna and J. Michael Tatum. My favorite is probably crispin freeman though.

You can always notice that it's them speaking when you see a new character, but I usually verify it with WikipediaI totally agree! Vic is a really talented voice actor that always seems to fit the character which is a rarity in the dubbing world. That is, the characters that he voices have a lot of range like Tamaki from OHC and Junpei from P3. But I'm really biased when it comes to my favorite voice actor...which is Johnny Bosch... I just really adore his voice and wouldn't mind him talking, yelling etc etc. :
supergirl21
yh when i watch anime all of the voice actors in it are in every anime that i've watched most of the stuff i watch are like funimation staff dubbed but are in unrelated animes
†Talena Mae
I find that some voice actors for the english dubbed anime are over used so I tend to watch subbed anime more then dubbed, at least there are a few different actors in the subbed. Ninjasgetmehot
JYB is in lots of anime. He's a great voice actor but his voice never really changes. That's something I really despise about a voice actor. If they don't have a variation in their voice, or they don't even try to! Another voice actor that I adore is Vic Mignogna! He's just overall great ^^
griver_007
Actually I find this very annoying! Too many same voice actors with english dub anime, it's like they can't hire anyone else and use the same people on every freakin anime. Sometimes I like subs better. That's because there are very few English dubbers that could connect with the characters that they portrait. Take Spike Spencer (voice of Shinji Ikari from Evangelion series). His voice is mainly use to portrait weak-willed/clumsy characters.
RC46
I have always liked english voice actors. And the two that stand out for me are Alexis Tipton and Monica Rial.
SSJSilva
English voice actors like Yuri Lowenthal, Vic Mignogna, Johnny Yong Bosch, Cristina Vee, Wendee Lee have great voices and of course, voice a lot of characters. Sure some may say people can be overused for characters, but like Dan Den said we adapt, which is not a bad thing. Unless we can get someone like Mel Blanc or Mark Hamill that is, then we are gooood! griver_007
Kevin Conroy of Batman franchise is the best. Batman would be Batjoke if they change the man behind the voice..
ragnawind
I have always like English VAs, as well. I find nothing wrong with them, even if they are used repeatedly. Anyway, I have heard so many anime VAs in games and even that Johnny Young Bosch was in one or two of the first Power Rangers series, and I believe also the first movie.
