i think its super fun to learn that a voice actor in one of your favorite animes is also in another.

like the voice of jiraiya in naruto is also zaraki from bleach.

and ichigo from bleach was sasori in naruto

the voice of itachi, that guy has a super long list of voices he does. from anime to cartoons he is like part of anything animation almost.

oh shit i cant forget to mention that mark hammel the man who played luke skywalker from star wars is also the joker from batman the animated series. and is also firelord ozai from the last airbender.

main point of this thread is who notices this without looking it up on google or wiki.

also did anyone catch that kakashi from naruto is the voice of fulgoray on zatchbell?

also the voice of zatch bell is the voice of jimmy neutron.

that one was really easy to figure out but i like that actor he did well as zatch.

This is one of my favourite things to find out when I watch an anime, I get excited when I find a voice actor doing another voice in another anime. for example:

Kyle Hebert: Gohan (Adult) (DBZ), Kamina (gurren lagann), Kiba (Naruto)

Yuri Lowenthal: Simon (Gurren Lagann), Sasuke (Naruto)

Thats just two of my favourite actors, and i find many more that excite me!

Actually I find this very annoying! Too many same voice actors with english dub anime, it's like they can't hire anyone else and use the same people on every freakin anime. Sometimes I like subs better.

cause nobody else is good enough, there are some anime eng dubbed voices that just dont fit, with common actors like the ones that do work with shonnen jump manga based anime, can do the character some justice.

like fairy tail, those eng voice actors arent worth comparing to these guys.

i agree about subs though, the jap voices have more feeling.

The same goes here. They use the same voice actors for allot of series, but over time you get used to it and adapt. Like the guy who voices for Alan (D.Gray Man) is the same one for Natsu (Fairy Tail) and now days I don't have much of a problem with it. But when you keep hearing the same voice in many series then it starts to get annoying but I have yet to reach this state.

I love learning that some brilliant voice actors are in several animes. My favourites are Micheal j Tatum, Vic Mignogna, Johnny Yong Bosch and Jason Liebrecht. There's generally at least one of these in all of the better anime which is lucky for me. You can always notice that it's them speaking when you see a new character, but I usually verify it with Wikipedia

I totally agree! Vic is a really talented voice actor that always seems to fit the character which is a rarity in the dubbing world. That is, the characters that he voices have a lot of range like Tamaki from OHC and Junpei from P3. But I'm really biased when it comes to my favorite voice actor...which is Johnny Bosch... I just really adore his voice and wouldn't mind him talking, yelling etc etc. :3

That's because there are very few English dubbers that could connect with the characters that they portrait. Take Spike Spencer (voice of Shinji Ikari from Evangelion series). His voice is mainly use to portrait weak-willed/clumsy characters.

English voice actors like Yuri Lowenthal, Vic Mignogna, Johnny Yong Bosch, Cristina Vee, Wendee Lee have great voices and of course, voice a lot of characters. Sure some may say people can be overused for characters, but like Dan Den said we adapt, which is not a bad thing. Unless we can get someone like Mel Blanc or Mark Hamill that is, then we are gooood!
