How popular is Anime in your country?

I think anime is relatively popular here, like people know what it is and have definitely watched at least Pokemon and maybe a couple of others that were shown during weekend breakfast cartoon slots

A lot of people like anime, and a lot of people hate anime. Speaking strictly as somebody who has always involved himself in niche and nerdy hobbies, it's difficult for me to judge the general public's awareness of something... I think most people would still call it "Japanimation."
