From this list, what would you pick as your favorite Meta Deck? If you have a preferred Deck, which one would you say is the best, this has to be a non biased opinion.

Metagame is the way the game is currently played in a given area. Specifically, when players talk about the metagame (or 'meta', for short), they talk about which Deck styles and strategies are the most dominant in their area of play; for instance, a metagame, cards that are played the most often or used by the most people, it also can mean the cards that are available in that area (through local-leagues or casual trade circles), and the current state of the Semi-Limited/Limited/Forbidden lists (If the area plays by the Traditional or Advanced Format). Typically, as metagame decks become more common, Anti-Meta decks appear in order to counter them. The current most common Anti-Meta decks include Miracle Gemini.

Currently, the more commonly used decks are "Plants", "Six Samurai", "Agents", "X-Saber", "Gravekeeper's", "Dragunity", "Tengu Synchro", "Quickdraw Turbo", "Chaos", "Dark World" and "Gadget Offering" Decks. Other notable Decks include "Machina Gadget", "Disaster Dragon", "Lightsworn", "Gladiator Beasts, "Blackwing", "T.G.", "Frognarchs and "Karakuri".

For me, so far I've tried Six Sams, Dragunity, Lightsworn, and Zombies. Six Sams kind of got nerfed recently. Lightsworns are a nice change since I've never played a milling deck before, but I think the one with the most consistency of the four would be Dragunity. The one I've used most however is a modified version of Disaster Dragon. I think by default the Disaster Dragon setup is not that great, however with some unique modifications I've made it can easily hold it's own.

Hmmm....

Well I've experienced lightsworn plenty of times, but the whole discard strategy just didn't suit me....lol

I started out with my fiend meta deck quite a while back, and during those days there weren't as fast paced duels as are now so it was able to hold pretty well in my case. Nowadays its quite outdated and can be beaten quite easily if one uses a fast deck like lightsworn or blackwing. (and damn I really do hate blackwing =P)

Disaster dragon was quite appealing when I tried it, I was finally able to use blue eyes white dragons effectively and I had red eyes as a killer ace for swarming the field with other high powered dragons. Though since I never got past fixing the bugs in my deck, I never really got to see its max but I did experience it from other duelists so I know it packs alot of raw power.

I just recently built a dragunity deck and I have to say it really works fast! In no more than a few turns I was able to summon 2 stardust dragons (assault mode) and STILL had the cards to summon as many synchro monsters as I wanted. The only problem I see with this deck is that it lacks raw power. Sure you can easily become unstoppable if you have 2 stardust dragons to constantly negate your opponent's effects but thats not gonna do any good if they end up summoning a bigger monster. Any monster over 3000 power can nuke you without activating any effect. But yeah that would only happen if you're not lucky enough to draw the spells/traps to kill those monsters before they can take you out, so I guess it works out in the end.

I have a modified machina OTK deck but never got round to try it on someone.....so can't say much bout it for now. :P And I'm currently working on a chaos/zombie deck so this one's in pending too.

Overall my favorites go in this order:

1, Dragon disaster

2, Dragunity

3, Machina

4, Fabled/Fiend

I've been using dragunity's a lot lately. I was thinking of buying the deck I have on DN and going to a few regionals

Considering there is a Structure Deck for them, you could easily buy three of them for a total of like $26 and have the entire setup for the deck except the actual Synchro's like Vajrayana and Stardust.

It's probably one of the cheapest/easiest Meta Deck to obtain because of that... and it's already one of the easiest to play. It really takes no skill or strategy when all the deck requires for it's entire gameplay is the Field Spell - Dragon Ravine. If your opponent can either destroy the Field Spell every time one is played and can survive through the play of the 3 Dux... the deck is left wide open with not a whole lot more it can do. Don't get me wrong.. I love the deck and it's extremely consistent but it relies completely on a single Field Spell for all of it's consistency.

Blackwings.

It's one of the most flexible decks around. It's been hit several times by the ban list and just keeps going and going. This is one sign of its flexibility. There is not one card that makes Blackwings. This is important because it has multiple viable strategies in the same deck, unlike themes like Dragunities which don't have a whole lot going on for them outside of Dux and Phalanx plays.

It can be an OTK deck or a control deck and can shift gears easily as a game commences.

It's also the deck that's smashing the current Kametsu Yugioh tournament. :)
