My Sigs!!

Recommended Posts

Okay, so as you all know, I make a lot of random sigs. Therefore, I did like Irish and made a specific thread for my new sigs to prevent clutter!!

Alright, my first sig actually happened by accident. It was meant for a male render, but the background came out waay too girly. So I was like "what render would match this background?", and then it hit me. Yuna's Festival Goer dressphere. And thats how this sig came to be!!!

Well, it started out for the guy, then it started going in a different direction that I liked, but didn't end up matching the render.

what he meant was that you should have started off with the render/stock and then built the background around IT instead of the other way around.

Having a render/stock available over a blank layer lets you create a more "matching" background.

they saying it was built around a render but this render ended up fitting the Background better than the original. so they did start with a render, just in the middle switched renders.

Okay, I tried taking what everyone was saying and put it into my latest sig. I've been wanting to do a couple of music-related sigs because music plays a big part in my life.

My first music sig is based off of the musical term, Gravé. Gravé, in music, is when the soloist plays at an excrutiatingly slow speed. Pieces that use Gravé usually involve wild and loud chords between the soloist and the bass part.

That said, the colors I chose for the sig represent the sad and depressed side of Gravé, whereas the background itself represents the wildness of the chords.

Honestly the only thing keeping your work from being great is your lack of creativity with trying new things and the horrible text you continue to use. You should really experiment because to me all your signatures are pretty much the same thing over and over again and that text really ruins them.

I don't understand whats wrong with the text... especially for something as solemn as Grave. I was planning on using crazy text for a crazy term, like Cadenza or Fortissimo, but especially for Grave, an eccentric text just wouldn't match well. Also, keep in mind, this is only my 18 sig, and I've been doing them for less than a month now. I'm not going to be great yet... just give me time!!! ♥

Okay, this is my next sig. The musical term used in this sig is Cadenza. The term Cadenza tells the soloist that he or she may pick the speed of the solo, so long as it is fast. Pieces that use Cadenza are filled with upbeat patterns and rythms, which I tried to convey using the colorful gradient in the background. Because Cadenza is a very wild and crazy term, I decided to make a pop-out sig!!! This is the first pop-out sig I ever made, so I'm sure it has a lot of mistakes!!! Constructive criticism is welcome. Thanks goes out to Shazi and Apollo for helping me out while I was making it!!! Thank you!!

Well there's a few things that caught my eye at first, the render looks a bit rough with those white pixels that are lining some parts of it. The render gets cut off at the top and that line on the right getting cut off looks a little out of place. But enough with the criticism, its well colorful the flowing notes really conveys musical theme for sure. The doves well are random and ok, the sigs a bit trippy haha.

well cool first pop-out sig HP

you should try to use a render that is complete something like this one in mine.

its better if you view it on a darker background. this was my fist pop-out sig so its not that good but it should help you.

your render is choppy you should check the render on a black bg before saving it so that way you can see if you have any spots left on it. you should always check your render on a white bg and a black bg. other then that the sig looks good. if you want i can give you some renders i have so many because i do renders for people. and if you need help you can ask me and if i can help ill try my best to.

Thanks you for the comments!! Keep 'em coming!!

Here's my next one. The term used is Ridicolosamente (that's a mouth-full!!). It literally means to play with ridiculousness. Usually used in percussion breaks, this style is almost never conducted. The percussionists are allowed to play at whatever tempo and most of the time ad-lib their music. Its a completely random term that's not used very often.

I decided to make my sig very ridiculous and crazy, like the term. The sig's background is full of random arrows, lines, hearts, and even a japanese warfan!!! The foreground of the sig is meant to be looked at from various angles. The render facing one way and the text facing another represents how, like in Ridicolosamente, its to be viewed in multiple and various perspectives each time you look at it!!!

Nice pop out sig, It's something I've been trying to do myself.

First off, your render is a little messy it as a very jagged look to it,the edges need cleaned up and smoothed out.

Some of the brushes looked rather pixelated, I'd suggest getting better hi res brushes to help with that.

The colored musical notes look out of place as do the birds, personally I think it would have been better without them.

This is just me, but the rainbow gradient would have looked better if you would have burned a pattern into it.

I do think the plain black text looks good with it though.

Overall I still think it's a good sig considering how long you've been doing them, even though I nit picked the hell out of it. lol
