that was a really, really tough choice. idl and seira both had excellent entries. i was about to vote for seira but the last half of idls just, just[/] pipped her.

on a side note, I reckon Iki's could of been the best but it seemed a bit rush towards the end.

Voted for Iki.

Irish got an excellent vid, it's just not quite a trailer.

Idl's - cool, but too hectic, death shown somewhere in the middle whereas it would be more logical for it to be the climax.

Raz - the hotd music is cool, it doesnt go with the footage very well though, plus it's difficult to make it anything better than the original is, it's a great intro.

...Had to toss a coin between Seira and Iki...

Yeah, i dont think im going to vote...

3 simple reasons.

-no syncing.

-nothing grabbed my attention.

-and nothing(including mine) captured a trailer.

Looked like some stuff you could have just put together in Windows Movie Maker.

I'm just beginning on this site and I'll hop in the next to come competitions, I do video game footage... Hopefully the next one has the same rules.

Haha, mate, i think some of them actually were made in WMM, at least i did so with mine. Truth is this isnt a place where people show off their awesome video editing skills, for some their work in this thread was their debut. Its just that the best way to develop your skills is to be put in competition. Sure, you're welcome to take part too.

Sound's fun... is there a section where you can um? Give video editing tips and receive tips yourself? I'm interested in improving my current skills and learning from others, just as teaching others. Meh, something like that... I am Irish's friend.. pleasure to meet you.

There's only so much advice you can give each other via forum, so I don't know if it would be worth devoting an entire section of the website to it. It could probably be started under the otaku releases here, though. I can start a thread shortly.
