PhoenixPress Posted October 2, 2018 Report Share Posted October 2, 2018 When One Piece is good, it's really good, but I feel like Naruto more consistently hits the mark for me. One Piece too often veers into stupid or annoying. Naruto is guilty of being convoluted, but its world and characters are more grounded in their behaviors and motivations, and the series knows what it wants to be. One Piece... isn't sure what it wants to be. Sometimes it's as consistent and good as Naruto, and sometimes it decides to take a dive into Bobobo territory.
