Kametsu Wars! [SIGN-UP]

My third story on the forums. This one won't be started for a little while as I want to get Kametsu Kombat and The Game a lot further on with their plots.

Essentually, this is what would happen if Star Wars and the people of Kametsu ever combined into one big random story.

Plot is similar ie Rebelion vs Empire, but I'm gonna give it a few more twists, and of course, the Kametsu touch! (No Jedi or Sith Powers, as want this to be more "Space" related, rather than "Use the force!")

There are going to be several different factions within the story:

Empire/Kingdom (not decided on name)

Rebellion

Pirates - There are likely to be multiple sets of pirates, so feel free to come up with multiple group names!

Independent Systems

Other - i.e doesn't fit into any of the above. These sort of characters could be anything from a humble merchant, to a bounty hunter

phew... so there go. I might also create a thread for approved ideas, to keep things clear and easy to read because I can see there being a lot of ideas, but still undecided.

Chris refused to be granted a title becasue of his family name, and instead went through all the proper channels and training, becoming the youngest ever Fleet commander in the history of the Empire. He commands the "Desolator", one of the Empire's newest Cruisers.

One of the latest cruiser's to be built by the Empire, this fearsome ship is designed to spread fear into its foes. Armed with enough firepower to drawf most other ships, and with a large crew of over 9,000 fighters and bombers aboard its decks, underestimating this ship would be a mistake.

Weaponry: 50 Ion Cannons (anti sheild), and over 100 Antiship lasers. Experimental cannon.

Name:The Emperor Lanius

Age:Not allowed to be spoke of under pain of death

Race:Human

Background and Personality: Vicious and cruel yet strangly well mannered, he rose to power after murdering his own father in a duel to the death. He has implants in his eyes that give them a shining appearance and allow him to see in infrared (too see would be assassins hiding in the shadows). During his reign he has done much too expand the empire. Despite his evident cruelty too his enemies his subject are fiercely loyal. He is a cunning and manipulating person, who relishes in watching his upper class subject squabble and bicker. Despite his evident age his is a surprising combatant and an even better tactician. In fact he executed many of his previous tacticians due to their incompetence. When he travels between star systems he uses his Flagship, the Ardent Ruler which is one of the most iconic craft in the galaxy. He also always travels with his personal guard, the Throne's Custodians, which are a small corp of around 300 men, but with enough training to win a war on their own. They are trained in tactical defensive combat and infiltration, and are known to hijack enemy ships. Around 12 of them are chosen, personally, too become his Cherubium Guard, and another to be his Seraphim.

Ship: The Ardent Ruler

The Ardent Ruler has been the symbol of the Empire's might for generations and can hold its own against most ships, despite its old age. it's main power lies in its defensive shields and the fact it almost never travels alone. It has extensive hangars (about 3800 fighter craft class ships and a couple of hundred dropships) and an ornate design which has given it an iconic an unique sihlouette.

Weaponry: 20 large Ion cannons, and 46 large Anti ship lasers, 8 heavy torpedo tubes, 200 anti air batteries and a 2 electro lasers mounted on the top and bottom

Sheid strength: extensive and extremely powerful shields, but interferes with electro laser and torpedos, which are main weapons

Race: Human

Background and Personality: 2nd Head of the pirate ship, The Hunter and crew, infamous and most feared crew in the universe. fought as a boy soldier, aged 7 in the empire. joined the rebellion against the empire. rose up the ranks of the rebel forces before lack of discipline and a major argument with the leader led to him quitting. Currently one of the emperors 4 most wanted people. Handsome, fit, strong and quick. Vast tactical nous, immensely skilled fighter with a strong personality. Can be easy going and carefree but prone to lash out and lose his temper too easily. cares only about his crew and earning money but bears a deep resentment of the empire for destroying his home and a deep mistrust of the rebellion after his negative experience with it.

Ship: The Hunter

It may not be big but the infamous jet black ship has forged a fearsome reputation over its 5 year life. despite only having a crew of around 100 humans and 50 non-humans, it hs succeeded in battle against empire fleets with as much as 3,000 men. Built for its immense speed, enemies should be wary of the most fierce pirate ship in the universe.

Weaponry: 2 Ion Cannons (anti sheild), and 30 Antiship lasers. large double cannon, stolen from the empire as a prototype before being completed by the 'genius' science team aboard the Hunter, 20 missile tubes, holding 3 missiles each and a large machine gun turret on the belly of the ship. Cloaking device, state of the art, existence of this isnt known to the empire or anyone else, is the reason for the sinister reputation of the vessel

Shield strength - powerful- made up of numerous smaller shields, to save energy, maintenance costs are high.

Background and Personality:Blaze is very aggressive ,and a short tempered young man he was found as a baby by the pirates, when the pirates found him the baby was on fire yet he wasn't hurt, thus they called him 'Blaze' he also had a strange tatoo on his stomach.Originally Blaze comes from an ever burning star called Alphada which is populated by a humanoid race called the Alphas. The Alphas have the ability to control fire to an extent, they can create fire and they can not get burned.Since he has been found by the pirates his dream is to find out why he is abandoned and to return to his home planet...He despises the Empire !

Dastan

The Dastans are a race that was resulted as a mixed breeding with humans and monkeys. And no, I don't know who the sick bastard was who wanted to do it with a monkey. Anyways, Dastans came into being shortly after the project was declared a failure.

Dastans have un-naturally quick reflexes and jumping abilities, and have a thing for taking things that don't belong to them. All Dastans are born with the appearance of a human. The only thing that sets them apart is their hard-to-not-notice monkey tail.

Dastans are as a rule, unbelievably stupid and end up living their lives doing forced labor for bananas. However, a short exception are born with the intelligence of a dolphin and grow up breaking things apart and reconstructing them in a better way, baffling dozens of Harvard-graduate scientists.

Dastans do not have a home planet. They are spread all over the galaxy. When a male and female Dastan meet, they get good and drunk, spend a night at the inn and leave the unborn embryo at the nearest hospital which doesn't ask too many questions.

Background : Iki was raised in the pirate town of Alabasta (yes, I am stealing a name from One Piece) where he was found and raised by a group of pirates. He is the Chief Saboteur of the “Going Merry” ship, and takes part every year in the Annual Pirates Gold race – a race in which pirates from all over the galaxy come to participate. Each group of pirates puts forth a certain amount of treasure at a certain spot and all ships race to grab it.

Seeing as all pirates are a bunch of sleazebag cheaters, the race comes down more to who sabotages the other more, sets ambush points correctly and pays off the other ship's navigator to give the captain wrong directions.

The “Going Merry” has been the winner of this contest for 2 consecutive years.

Personality : While he isn't usually one to chummy around people, he doesn't have an emo personality like Cloud or Squall either. He'd rather spend the day at a tavern where the female to male ratio would generally be greater than one. While his friends are few, there are no limits to the lengths he would go to help them. Also, he doesn't hesitate to help out even his enemies in their extreme time of need. As he says - “Do I need a reason to help somebody?”

All that said, he IS a pirate. Don't trust him. You'll regret it. At least your wallet will.

Name: Astyr Kaizen Yassaryl

Age: 60

Race: Irys, humanoid, faster, stronger than most races, black colour markings (these markings are called kayrak) in random areas of their bodies, these markings generate an energy or protein called Kahn (this protein giving wherever the kayrak is, the ability to work MUCH better than other races, and can even, if their skilled enough redirect the kahn to act as a personal energy shield) the location of their Kayrak decides where they are strongest (over the brain= faster thought processing and easier knowledge intake, over heart = less heart diseases and longer life and much slower aging which gets slower as they get older, over muscles= stronger and faster, their kayrak usually decides what their profession is), some have bred with other races so some have tails, wings, gills etc, no Irys is exactly the same in terms of power, intelligence or speed, their home planet is keydor, the Irys have beings known as “royalty” where the family have a rule pure Irys, meaning no breeding with other races such as the dastans or any other these royals are stronger than other Irys due to the kahn they produce is more potent than the non royals.

Background and Personality: cold, cool and calculating serious all the time, always keeps an ace up his sleeve. He was the son of the previous leader of the yassayrl, being trained the second he could stand, and fighting for his life in life or death battles since the age of 9 in turf wars against other clans reigning victorious, until his mother (the previous leader) died when he was the age of 14, and was to become leader after completing the trials required of him, and defeating the clan in an all on 1 brawl with no fatalities at the age of 15, is currently engaged to Siren queen of the Kasturn, to bring their clans together to become stronger, his family founded the clan 2,000 years ago (he is a royal %100 Irys no cross breeding in the family as a rule which makes him stronger than most).

Image – he holds the appearance of a 6 foot 2”, 20 year old boy, with tanned skin, brown hair tied in a ponytail and he has his markings at the tips of his fingers on bother arms to the mid section of his forearms, from over his shoulder in a thin line leading to his whole chest (lung= less air required and lung capacity increased can hold breath up to 10 mins, heart = slower aging and immunity against heart related diseases) all over both his shins, and most of his thighs, and one leading from his right shoulder to the surroundings of his right eye (meaning he has better vision, can see further away with ease, see in complete darkness and can think faster due to the fact that the kahn affect the surrounding areas as it affects the brain as well), and a non kayrak scar on his left cheek he received from his mother while training with her, royal tattoo on the left side of his neck.

Faction: Yassaryl, a clan of stealth, independent system

Irys that are feared by all the other clans for their technologies and their warriors, their technologies are that of defense and stealth(shields, smoke screens etc) and highly advanced due to the percentage amount of kayrak over their heads in the civil sect, their leader is determined by strength, they are required to complete a series of trials before facing off against the entire clan at the same time without ANY fatalities.

Was a wedding present from siren originally it was a high speed luxury transport ship, when Astyr got a hold of it he modded it to hell with his stealth and defense upgrades his scientists in the civil sect developed for him turning it into a ship made specifically for boarding other ships for more personal combat.

Equipped with communication jammers, sand screen (covers a vast area with sand Highly reducing vision).

Weaponry: 2 laser canons on the front no main cannon

Background and Personality: upbeat happy bubbly, but very serious, (she is a %100 Irys) when required, she has been bought up in high standards of education in preparation of leadership along with 6 other women, the people voted in her favor, her advisers suggested she marry the leader of another clan a strong one to assist them in war against strange unknown people constantly attacking with fire power greater than theirs, they travelled to the mother planet Keydor to find a strong clan to assist and join with, finding the yassaryl they asked their leader for assistance and in return they offered marriage to their queen, the leader accepted on the terms that they give all technology they possessed to the yassaryl, they accepted reluctantly.

Faction: Kasturn, space faring focused, independent system, they reside on a planet known as Kayl.

Irys that have adapted to their planets near destruction by creating and focusing technology on space travel and weapons now that war has broken out against one of the other island colonies. They travelled to Kayl in fear of the other clans when they gained technology capable of space travel, they left and focused on space travel ever since. They are a diplomatic group, and vote on their leaders, and people in charge, their warriors aren’t that well trained but their pilots are top of the range as they send their consciousness into the machine by manipulating the kahn in their mind into the ship.

Kayl was nearly destroyed when the an earthquake damaged the gravitational core of the planet to the point that it messed with the gravity to the point that it repelled mass, for an instant, now it just holds non living mass in place climate and environment much like earths main difference being the gravity issues and the bottomless craters and ravines that lead to a dark ball of Dark matter that will crunch anyone who falls from it.

Keydor is a very small planet with A LOT of people living on it, now the inhabitants are fighting for land and nobody wants to leave as the Irys are VERRY territorial and would rather die than lose their homes. The planet is rugged with lots of mountains, caves and forests with a humidity of 30% in 30 degree heats.

Tigror are a race that resemble Humans and Tigers ....males are 4m tall physically they are 5x times stronger that normal humans while females are 2m tall and generally weaker than males, Tigror live up to an average of 500 years. They are famous for their brute strength and their close combat weapons. Their only downfall is that their technologies are limited because they aren't very intelligent and because Xerog doesn't have the natural resources.

Xerog is the home planet of the Tigror its a huge planet inhabited by about 1 billion Tigror , its mostly covered in Deserts and Rainforests , the climate is very hot and humid , apart from Tigror another small race inhabits Xerog they are a small rodent race called Wrungar which the Tigror feed off of.

Background and Personality: Every 500 years a baby is born with a marking on its forehead this marking is the mark of Brograr The Mark Of The Chosen One this baby is to become king after the current king passes away , After the last King passed away Krodarg became the ruler of Xerog. Krodarg is a very smart and brutal king and also generous toward his own race at the same time. With planet Xerog running out of natural resources Krodarg prepared a plan to invade the neighboring planets and capture the natural resources with Xerog's secret weapon....It's only ship.

Name: Thomas Grayson

Alias: Shadow

Age: 20

Race: Zelion

Background / Personality: The captain of the Blitzkrieg pirates, a sharp tactician as well as a great fighter. He started out as a small boy living in his home planet zena until the empire decided to bring the planet under their faction which forced him and his parents to take refuge along with the other zelion on planet earth where they went into hiding as humans. This wasn't very difficult of course since in appearance they resembled humans quite a bit while only having a few biological differences such as having black blood instead of red and that their brain waves/heart rate/blood circulation etc would be much faster than normal humans. The other significant difference is their racial powers, they apparently have the power to control space/time! But from what is known, their powers are pretty limited by not just range but also from how much they could do and most of them can only use their powers within a small circle surrounding them in terms of some several feet. Their powers can vary from having the ability of slowing/stopping time to being able to change the shape/form of anything. In Thomas's case however, he had learned to take full advantage of this power by being able to control the time/dimension/speed/mass/density/gravity of himself, his target and his surrounding while also being able to warp anything including himself to any location/dimension which he could see clearly with his eyes. A unique trait to his powers was that everytime he would use them it would give off a dark killer persona feeling in him until it was concluded that the more he would use his powers the darker his personality might become. But ever since he became captain of the Blitzkrieg pirates, he's been confident enough to mostly rely on his crew, his weaponry and his bare fists. (This can be considered a habit which he's developed as a boy since in order to fit in with the humans since he had to hide his powers throughout his childhood years.) His personality shows he loves a challenge. (most of that can be noted from the chases he's been through and how he likes one on one combat) He's very ruthless towards his enemies and would waste no minute killing anyone who might try to threaten him or his crew but for anyone who is weak he would rather fight them with either his bare fists or simply using his laser shotgun as he'd believe this as a form of mercy before he kills them. The blitzkrieg pirates started out as a band of thieves for supporting their people in poverty, later they expanded as a mafia and soon started all kinds of black marketing until their crew was big enough to consider conquering on a galactic scale. Thomas was unanimously chosen as their captain and mostly because he was the strongest of them in both combat and strategy. His crew comprises of human rebels and alien refugees and they all joined either for the sake of survival or to rise in their careers from bandits/thieves/black marketeers. His race people wanted no part in this and even he believed this to be best for them because it is for their sake that he started out as a pirate in the first place hence them being involved only put them in danger. Soon after he was given the alias Shadow to hide his identity and to put a signature to his new name he would always use his powers to leave a trail of dark/black clouds behind at the scene of the crime while also masking himself and his ship. He's power hungry and would aim no less than the top spot, his crew feels mutual to his goals and in time they all learned to love the thrill of being the pirates that they were.

Faction: Pirates (Name: Blitzkrieg Pirates)

Ship - Starlight Cruzer

A ship that was built from stolen empire technology by the blitzkrieg pirates. Its the biggest investment they had to make from the credits they obtained over the years in its construction. The name of ship is based on how it can either choose to shine like the stars with its neon plates or disappear in pitch black due to having mirror like black coating. The coating also makes the ship untraceable by radar as well as being near to invisible in space. Its speed/flexibility makes its space maneuvering much surpassing compared to most empire ships and the size is more than enough to hold a battalion of troops. Its wings/edges are equipped with neon plates which emit shield waves to cover up the whole ship. The inner ship is filled with dozens of facilities and quarters for its members, the bottom level of the ship is the hanger where vehicles/jet fighters can exit in/out easily from opening lower hatch.

Weaponry: 70 chrona blasters, 10 anti shield lasers, 20 missile launchers and 2 power cannons (require power drain from engine but extremely powerful).

Crew Size - 9,000

Shield strength - Powerful/long lasting but can only be most effective as long as all the neon plates remain intact/undamaged.

just a couple of race Ideas before I post the characters

The grail

The grail was a race that embraces their surrounding environment, and adapt to it depending on their thoughts and state of mind. This happens at a speed a 1,000,000,000,000 times faster than humans evolution, this evolution happens over the time of ON AVERAGE 2 weeks depending on how urgent and fearful the situation seems, (they could grow wings in a matter of seconds if their cornered with no other escape route, or gills if their drowning) they usually depend on their ability to adapt to solve their issues but when over population began, they looked to updating their technology to the point of space travel to expand their horizons and save their people, however this would take years and they did not have that time, however as they were in this bind the empire conveniently approached them with an offer, they would give them the technology in exchange however they would join the empire.

The Estarise, (means darkness in the grail native language)

History

Two thousand years ago the grail had populated their planet to the point that food shortage and droughts were common they needed a new home, so they created space travel, they sent several ships full of grail in completely different directions in hopes that they can expand their Race without starvation and poverty, 2 of those 5 ships found SAFE lands to settle on however not all starved to death 1 other crashed into a planet of total darkness (this planet was named “the killer star” by the empire as a no go zone, the estarise called it Zarek, meaning unending darkness) and absolutely no heat at all regardless of being directly next to a giant star producing intense heat that melts rock on the next planet in the system, this is caused by the planet producing MASS amounts of radiation that kills ALL other radiation AND energies including kahn and basic energies that make your entire body to function. The survivors of the crash adapted to the cold before they left the ship using their conditioning equipment that forces adaption, but when they left the ship they dropped in seconds, the radiation was destroying the basic energies their bodies required to move and to think, however as this was happening one thought was loud and clear, survive. When they awoke, they had suffered massive brain damage, most forgetting who their families were, what they were doing there, and even how they got there, the thought of survival, caused them to evolve, made them capable of withstanding the mass amounts of radiation the planet was producing.

Since then the radiation had made them stronger allowing them to produce it, causing them to evolve to the point that they not only take it in to their bodies as an energy source like food, but can also produce it 10 times more than what they took in as a weaker version as what the planet produces (meaning they can produce a version that destroys a small portion of energy and can destroy ALL light they call this Karahn, the name is not a coincidence in the similarity with Kahn). Their bodies have grown a lot stronger, strength speed and intelligence have all increased dramatically as they have broken away from the grail ignorance towards technology, and their bodies can live for an average of 600 years without aging after 18 however, due to the effects of the radiation, their fertility rate is at a measly 7%. The effects of the radiation has also killed off their ability to adapt, though that does not bother them as they have thrown away their Grail names for Estarise, as the grail threw them out as they were nothing. The Estarise now have overwhelming technology based on both the empires designs and the power of the planet, the ships they build all produce mass amounts of the radiation.

The Estarise have also been known to be religious as they have found the source of the radiation, they call this entity Eskahn, and they worship this entity as a god. They have implemented church around this god where only the high Zephrin, a priest like figure, can speak with the entity, the high Zephrin will always have a guard by his/ her side, the zephrin is chosen by Eskahn as is her protector.
