However I used to stick Cartoon Network on after highschool, so Dragonball Z, Gundam Wing (not as much).But recently introduced my girlfriend and brother to Haruhi, and they both love it! nejifan11 Posted May 21, 2011 Report Share Posted May 21, 2011 When I was a kid, i'd watch random animes that I don't know the name of just cause it was on TV and stuff. But, even though I can't remember that, I remember the anime that made me go crazy: Naruto. It was just SOO awesome and it started when my friend bought a Naruto Clash of Ninja 2, which he bought cause it looked interesting when he looked at it in the store. He didn't watch Naruto, nor knew much about it, all he knew was that he bought a video game. He brought it to my house and before we knew it it's been hours and we'd still be playing that game. It was great timing that I wanted to start watching it because there was a new year's special of naruto episodes marathon, and I started watching it then. From then on, I watched, and played, Naruto. My friend wasn't as into it, and soon not much at all interested, but then I introduced him to Bleach and he became hooked to it more than he was hooked to Naruto, since he liked how its both humorous and actiony. Battle of the Planets, Thunderbirds (uhh does the original Speed Racer count?).it wasn't until shows like Voltron and Robotech that I realized what I was into.Boy do I feel old admitting this. I would use Code Geass to get my friends into anime, and i have gotten someone with Soul Eater.
