I hear it'll be based on the first two seasons which were both 22 episodes long at 45 minutes per episode yet the Anime will be only one season of 22 episodes at ~25 minutes in length. The Anime will include the main story of the two seasons while cutting out some of the extra material and adding new 'Anime Only' episodes into the mix. † poetictragedy Posted December 23, 2010 Report Share Posted December 23, 2010 THAT IS SO WEIRD!I've been watching the series since it started, and it's one of my all-time favorites. Thinking about it in anime format is so strange. I mean, they're speaking Japanese. Coming from someone who watches almost exclusively dubbed shows, this is weird enough, but this is Sam and Dean we're talking about. It would definitely take some getting used to. However, I think an anime format would be really neat because there's no limit to what they can do as far as monsters and effects and such.As a die-hard fan, I'll probably check it out. It should be an interesting twist on the series at the very least. Oh, and I think the earlier seasons were the best. They didn't have all the complex melodramas that the newer seasons do. Koby Posted December 27, 2010 Author Report Share Posted December 27, 2010 I heard that on the Japanese DVD release two episodes of the second set will have dubs by Jensen Ackles and Jared Padelecki!Unfortunately this rules out the possibility of the whole thing having an English dub at the time of release in Japan like Gundam Unicorn. However I'm still hoping Warner Bros. brings this to the states and that Jensen and Jared get to finish dubbing the rest of the show for an R1 release. I'd definitely buy it as I am a big fan of the Live-Action TV show (I own all 5 seasons that are out on DVD and will get the 6th when it is released).
