[Solved] Avatar size

Hey Koby, I was wondering if the avatar size is only 80x80 (guessing). Most forums have it at 100x100 but this is not most forums, so you may do as you please. Can the avatar size be at 100x100 por favor?

OMG, yes of course. I'm still figuring SMF out... I'll get the avatars to work with 100x100 soon! Sorry about that.

Okay 100x100 avatars should be able to be used now.

IMO 100 x100 with 160 KB size is good.

I'd prefer you'd host it elsewhere and add the url. Thats why upload size is so small (I couldn't find out how to disable uploads).

hey koby is it in your power to enable auto-sizing?you know when you put up an avatar and it's less than 100x100 it gets automatically sized.

I'm not sure there is an option for that. You could always just use an image editor and do it yourself or make a request in the graphics area.

Why is it that some people's avatars are larger than the 100x100 limit? How did they get around that limit? I've been trying to figure it out for days.

Because the limit was changed way back to 150x150 because of several requests.

ParasiteEve, Botzz, Sickadiscustus, and Talena Mae were the ones that I noticed. Mine used to be 150x150, but when I changed the picture, it was resized.

I edited my post above I guess around the time you were posting. A long time ago we changed the limit to 150x150. I had forgotten, anyways I checked and for some reason the gfx team group was still set to 100x100. So I changed it now, and you should be able to use a 150x150 avatar.

I personally stick to 100x100 sized avatars though, it's just the general/normal size for em.
