Anime File Names?

How do you have your anime files named?

Such as, do you keep them the same title as you downloaded them with whatever group encoded the file left in the file name or do you clean them up?

I actually clean mine up to look like (Series name) (Episode number) - (Title of episode)

I also clean them up. Specially when I download from more than one source.

I organize my anime as follows:

First I make a folder with the following name-structure:

AnimeName <space> (dub/sub/dual audio) <space> (ongoing/complete)

ie "Witch Hunter Robin (dual audio) (complete)"

Then I rename my anime to follow this pattern:

AnimeNameNoSpaces <space> EpisodeNumber

ie "WitchHunterRobin 01"

Everything is named as this: "Anime Name - Ep number - Ep Title"

File folders Complete - Ongoing.

nah dude. i dont have time for all that. i just make a folder and type in the name of the anime and put it all there ... until i finish it.

then, i just delete it.

i mean, if i wanna watch it again, ill just download it again, right?

I just leave the name as it is. Provided that the file at least has the right episode number.

I just write the name of which anime it is e.g naruto then just put the episode title next to it

I am a bit of a freak when it comes to the naming of my files. I cannot stand it when they are not in an order, it just bugs me until I change them.

Anyway, I like to keep mine in this fashion "Anime title" - "Episode number" - "Episode Title" so for example: 'Death Note - 01 - Rebirth'

And then that is put into a folder with the title of the anime, so for that one it would be 'Death Note'

I keep it so all of them are listed in order.

Usually like this:

Anime Name - ## - Episode Title

Sometimes it doesn't have episode title, which is mostly for the subtitled stuff. Almost all my dubbed stuff has episode titles.

I keep my anime in separate folders, but I don't usually change the filenames. If I have to convert them, I usually change the filenames to episode numbers (1,2,3). It's just easier, I guess.

I separate them in to folders but not always a seperate one for each season of a series (Example: I have Full Metal Panic!/Second Raid/Fumoffu in the same folder)

I rename them removing encode groups, underscores or dots to [Anime Title] - [Episode Number] after i watch them, I don't usually add the episode titles but if they already have them i leave/move them after the episode number.
