Koby
In this topic, talk about an episode from any American Cartoon series that was banned, and give an explanation why it was banned. Show: 101 Dalmatians: The SeriesEpisode: Alive N' Chicken / Prima DoggyReason: Towards the end of "Alive N' Chicken", Spot flies her little aircraft and ends up crashing into the windmill and imagines herself going into Chicken Heaven. Disney decided to ban this episode after the 9/11 attacks thinking that scene would remind people of the events on that day. Show: Cow and ChickenEpisode: Buffalo GalsReason: This episode never aired again since it's original air date because it recieved numerous parent complaints about having innappropriate material. Mostly, it was because the Buffalo Gals in the episode were stereotypical lesbians, and that wasn't right to have in a kids' show. Show: Dexter's LaboratoryEpisode: Dial M for Monkey: BarbequerReason: During the run of the first season, this episode aired regularly, but soon afterwards, it was banned in a lot of countries because somebody complained that the character, Silver Spooner, was a rip-off of Silver Surfer. It was also because it showed a character drinking alcohol and getting drunk. The episodes that accompanied this episode, "Double Trouble" and "Changes" were removed as well, but later on, Cartoon Network decided to bring those back and put in "Barbequer"'s place, "Dexter's Lab: A Story". Show: Family GuyEpisode: Partial Terms of EndearmentReason: This episode was about Lois agreeing to become a surrogate mother for her friend who was not capable of having a baby. Unexpectedly, her friend and her husband were killed in a car accident and Lois now had to choose between having the child or having an abortion. This episode will be on an upcoming DVD boxset, but the reason it will not air on TV is because even though the show is known for political incorrectness, it deals with a very delicate subject in a very fragile economic time and some people may find it upsetting. Show: KaBlam!Episode: Untitled (Why June Refuses to Turn Page?)Reason: Alright, THREE reasons (it was shown on Nick many times until it was cancelled and started to air on Nicktoons):Reason #1: One of the shorts in the episode was Angela Anaconda, and (as of today) owned by Fox, so Nick would get in trouble for copyright issues.Reason #2: For the theme of death in the Action League Now! short, and for some strange reason, Nick thought it was too dark (yet they go ahead and air ZIM, Avatar, and Danny Phantom). The short was also part of an episode of the ALN TV show, and the episode got banned after it was returned to Nicktoons in 2007.Reason #3: The begining had a scene where June was pretending that she was a talk show host and she was wearing (possibly) fake breasts in the scene to look "grown up", so it could also be banned due to Nick finding it "suggestive". Show:: Rocko's Modern LifeEpisode: Leap FrogsReason: The plot was about Mrs. Bighead trying to seduce Rocko, and after the original Nick broadcast, it never aired again (at least in the US)Show: The Ren & Stimpy ShowEpisode: Man's Best FriendReason: The ending had Ren beating up him and Stimpy's new owner with an oar, violently. it didn't air until Ren & Stimpy's Adult Party Cartoon.
LetsSmackZak
Show: Tiny Toon Adventures Episode: One Beer Reason: Three characters become intoxicated after finding an unopened bottle of beer and drinking it, then proceed to steal a cop car, take the car to a tall mountain, and "kill" themselves by driving the car off the mountain. Dab is a Cunt
Show: Looney Tunes Episode(s): "The Censored Eleven" (Hittin' the Trail for Hallelujah Land, Sunday Go to Meetin' Time, Clean Pastures, Uncle Tom's Bungalow, Jungle Jitters, The Isle of Pingo Pongo, All This and Rabbit Stew, Coal Black and de Sebben Dwarfs, Tin Pan Alley Cats, Angel Puss, Goldilocks and the Jivin' Bears) Reason: "The copyright holders believe that no amount of selective editing could ever make them acceptable for distribution." This is due to racial themes being so prevalent and essential to each cartoon.

Kinda ridiculous that this gets a ban but the episode where Calamity Coyote is in blackface doesn't

Nardlen
Show: The Angry Beavers Episode: Bye Bye Beavers Reason: This was the finale of the series and it alluded that the series is over, but this broke one of Nickelodeon's rules that said no show could reference that it was ending. ElementalCards
^Does an audio exist or a leaked transcript? Either it was for that episode or the one that would’ve accompanied it before. I think it was a fishing/camping episode.

The fishing/camping episode you're talking about is "A Tail of Two Rangers," and it was the first segment of the last episode but that one didn't air as well; there's barely any information on the rangers episode, sadly.

alan993
Show: Batman: The Brave and the BoldEpisode: The Mask of Matches Malone!Reason: The song "Birds of Prey" was seemed as too risky, so the episode never aired in USA.However, it aired in other countries and it was included on the series` dvd and blu ray.
