Kisara
Hi! I'm new here and don't really know how I got here ^^; I'm a huge fan of the anime Yu Gi Oh; Duel Monsters, so I guess I'm looking for new friends to talk with about the show (the English dubbed version, that is.) yuri8724
Hi, I'm also a new one here and also a huge fan of Yu-Gi-Oh (my first anime ) and I was desperately searching for a way to finish a torrent (containing RAW dvd's of the serie) that I go back from nyaa. Unfortunately nyaa is gone today T___T and I still have 13% to download (of the 340GB TT_____TT life is so cruel). But I hope here I will find the files I miss :3 (Sorry for the possible english mistakes I'm not gifted for languages :D)

noob447
Duel Monsters was the only one I liked. Obviously it was an anime geared toward children but I loved how Pegasus was eccentric and dark and crazy but they sort of made him pityable and lovable because he did it all out of desperation for his love. It's relatable.
ElementalCards
I just love the "close call" moments and plot twists featured in duels. One example is how Yugi lost on purpose for Seto Kaiba before his battle with Pegasus. I actually wanted Yugi to win tho :>
Tornado3000
I used to watch this show on Saturday morning as a kid. But only when my brother got the TV remote.
ElementalCards
I have a question to those already familiar with the franchise. I've started watching Duel Monsters awhile back, and I want to know if GX and 5Ds can still be watched despite the undubbed episodes. I know that Capsule Monsters, Zexal and the current Arc-V have been dubbed in their entirety. Edited March 25, 2018 by ElementalCards
sudoku
Yugioh GX has been dubbed up through episode 154; in fact Yuigoh and Yugioh GX are the only two of the series I liked. I have not been a fan of the newer series (include VRAINS)
ElementalCards
That I know, but 5D episodes were dubbed randomly after 3 seasons, thus leaving the series incomplete.
sudoku
As far as I know, Yu-gi-oh and Yu-gi-oh GX are only english dub (save for the first 9 episodes of Yu-gi-oh) because the English edits don't match the original Japanese footage. ElementalCards
^Or the original YuGiOh!1998 and the last 24 episodes of GX. The first 3 seasons of YuGiOh! were awesome, save for Noah's Arc. Not only was he an annoying douchebag, but he's an excellent example of deus ex machina from the way he "froze" Yugi's friends through lightning. Pathetic. Oh, and with the exception of Grand Championships, I hated S4 and S5. The whole shoehorning with evil and oricalcos didn't seem interesting to me, there were barely any duels in Dawn of the Duel and Capsule Monsters had a confusing dueling style. I absolutely hate how the creators destroyed Mai and how much her friendship with Joey randomly ended after she was freed from the oricalcos. sudoku
I liked Yugioh Duel Monsters more after season 1 when the card battles actually made sense. I did like Yugioh GX for the fresh energy of Jaden Yugi and wish they dubbed the final two episodes where he battles Yugi Moto. I have never really got into the other series because there are just too many variables and find the card game just as confusing.
ElementalCards
Doubt it, the dub ended years ago and 4Kids has been a done deal since 2012. Post redacted. Edited June 5, 2018 by ElementalCards
droid10
Yu Gi Oh!! I remember when I used to collect cards that came with packets of Chips! Oh man those were the days!
Zane
Man, I wished they finished the dub of GX too. Probably my favorite series of yugioh
Tiagofer
I love Yu-Gi-Oh! Currently rewatching all of Duel Monsters. Next, I'll watch all of GX, 5D's and Zexal. Haven't watched Arc-V or VRAINS yet but I'm looking forward to it!
TheShield
but a 1080 version of this anime exists?
KiyoshiStar
5 hours ago, TheShield said: but a 1080 version of this anime exists? I believe Japan had started a re-airing which was remastered like 1yr 1/2 ago or something. Not sure if it was 1080 or not. Also not sure if any of it ever hit home media. Might still be on-going.
