Never Again

Recommended Posts

Tell us about the things you swear you will never do again. It can be eating or drinking certain types of food or drink. It can be visiting a restaurant. It can be talking to a certain person. It can be posting on this forum. No it can't.

Keep it clean. (◕‿◕✿)

+5 points if you swore not to do something and then later did it.

+10 points if the reason you swore not to do it again is hilarious.

+15 points if you swore not to do something as a child and you still don't do it, even though it makes no sense to continue to avoid doing this thing.

I always swear I won't eat the entire bag of chips and then ten minutes later I'm pouring the crumbs into my face. Haha, will power.

Once I swore I would never write fan fiction again. This was obviously a lie. Even if I'm not actively writing it on the computer, I'm writing it in my head. I think, "How would this situation be different if Kanaya were here? Would Stocking's presence make this encounter more or less terrible?"

I always resolve not to talk to certain people, but unless they actively hurt me, I'm always like, "I'll give them one more chance". Eventually I forget until I am annoyed just enough to be like, "This time I'm really not going to talk to them...!"

The Burger King on base was really gross and they found gross things in the food. I didn't really eat Burger King a lot, but I haven't been to one since.

However, there could be a Popeye's that was literally crawling with hundreds of creepy-crawlies and I would just go to a different one and eat Popeye's. This is how great my love for Popeye's is.

Okay, your turn.

Hungry Jack's is part of Burger King!! We are Burger King/Hungry Jack's avoiding twins. O3O

Soda was pretty easy for me to quit, it's expensive anyway. I have a pretty big sweet tooth, but for some reason it never carried over to soda.

At this point, though, I mostly get my sweet fixes from fruit. o3o I'll take a mango over a candy bar any day, haha.

I do have an aversion to coconut on my meats, either in milk or flake form. I had a bad experience with coconut milk chicken.

I swore to never trust my heart to a man again. This has been an easy one to keep.

After taking a sip one time, I swore to never drink beer again... Another easy one to keep.

When I was little I promised mom that I would stop letting stray animals into the house. I totally broke this one about 50 more times before she got smart and just got me a kitty of my own. ^_^

Well I sword I'd never touch beer again but everytime I'm drunk off my face I usually resort to it cause it's the only thing left and it's cheap haha...

Hey I just said I sword... well that word is better the swore anyway lol.

I swore I'd never play my ps3 again once, that lasted about a week max before I was glued to the controller haha.

I swore I'd never walk over one of those grates on a bridge that let you see through right down to the road below or water, I have not broke this because I am afraid I fall through, idk why I just am haha, now if I come to them I jump them or go around somehow.

I do it with almost all grates, there's the metal covered ones that you walk over too and they like push in and you can hear it, those ones I dont like either. I remember I went somewhere once and I had to cross a bridge and it was allll grate stuff across, i was like WHAT?! HOW CAN I DO THAT?! I ended up going around the long way haha. Oh I also did this at the aquarium, they have those glass floors full of water and I dont like them either.

I hated wedding cake and I swore never to eat it again.......Over four years on I have stuck to this.

I never wanted to ride on the back of a bike but I broke that a few times.

Okay.....here's the most serious promise I made to myself......I swore never to fall in love and never to get married.......hm....I haven't broken it but somehow it's like I'm being bound to that promise by fate.

When I was 4 I swore that I would never die. 24 years later and I'm still keeping my word.

Other than that, I don't really have any vows unless they are legally binding. Typically I just try to give myself a general aversion, such as not putting things in my eyes.

I don't like things going near my eyes either, when I got my eyebrow pierced I was like NEEDLE NEAR MY EYE! lol

I've sworn never to speak of 3 things that have happened in my life... and eat a Chick-Fil-A. Which I haven't done since the second time I ate Chick-Fil-A, but never again... OH GOD THE NIGHT TERRORS I GOT FROM THAT PLACE. q ~q

Beer is icky, it tastes like chunks! I don't like the way it tastes or feels in my mouth. I'll always try a sip to see if there's any I like, but I think since the texture is such an issue for me, I'll never actually enjoy a beer.

Those are spooky. I avoid walking on the sewer grates too. When I was in NYC, there'd always be people walking all over grates because it's not like you have a choice, but it was pretty spooky to hear the popping noises every time!

Glass floors don't bother me as much. I guess if they break, I already can't swim, so getting eaten by fish would be a karmic death for all the fish I've eaten in my life.

What happened at Chick-fil-A? I don't eat there a lot, I'm still really angry they got rid of the spicy chicken nuggets.

HOW COULD THIS HAPPEN TO ME

I MADE MY MISTAKES

Anyway, I like their lemonade. it is delicious.

They really are spooky and the glass ones dont bother me so much, I mean if they break I know I'm just gonna fall into water and be eaten or drown instantly when all that water floods the room I was in haha. It's just the grate types that get to me

The sewer monsters will ensure we die a swift death. It's hard being a mutant who hasn't properly seen the light of day in decades since being abandoned as an infant to live in a literal sea of feces.

I read a story about this, I don't know what it was anymore, but the memory remains.

Actually, that's another thing I always do. I'm like, "I AM NOT GOING TO READ SCARY THINGS AT NIGHT."

And then it's two in the morning and I'm scrolling through creepypasta, guaranteeing that I will absolutely have nightmares once I manage to fall asleep despite being assured that there are definitely monsters watching me right now.

Yes the sewer monsters will surely eat us all! They're going to rise up one day and just take over!

On the horror thing I think that's the same for me with scary movies, I'll be like PFFT im watching that during the day, then its midnight and I'm sitting there going THIS IS GREAT! when in my mind I'm silently screaming and also nonstop looking behind the couch to see if there's something there even though it's against a wall lol.

I avoid most scary movies because I don't watch them so much as I listen to them as I cover my eyes, haha.

I did watch The Collection because I had seen The Collector a few years back, and I wanted to see how it turned out. It was more torture porn than spooky things (it's made by the people who brought us the eight million Saw movies), but it was still pretty bad. I immediately spoiled the entire plot while watching it so I could anticipate the jump scares.
