To the Bleeding Hearts

Please take my cash.

Take it with glee

Clearly my funds

Exceed my needs

Who cares if it's fair?

Who cares if it's right?

Force me to share

To end others' plight

Sure, I worked hard

Gave blood and sweat

But take my bank card

And pay off their debt.

Extract this small fine

It's yours to take

The fault is all mine

Forget their mistakes

Yes, some are addicts

Yes, some are bums

Some are ex-convicts

Others just dumb

They've nothing to offer

We've nothing to gain

But please raid my coffers

to ease all their pain.

So help the meek horde

Buy them gold trailers

But don't expect an award

For this investment in failure.

So I thought this poem was pretty funny and thought I would share it and see what everyone else thought of it.
