What's your WEI score? Who has the best?

The Windows System Assessment Tool (WinSAT) is a module of Microsoft Windows Vista and Windows 7 that is available in the Control Panel under Performance Information and Tools. It measures various performance characteristics and capabilities of the hardware it is running on and reports them as a Windows Experience Index (WEI) score.

The WEI includes five subscores: processor, memory, 2D graphics, 3D graphics, and disk; the basescore is equal to the lowest of the subscores. The maximum possible score will increase as more powerful hardware becomes available: Windows Vista reports scores on a scale between 1.0 and 5.9, while Windows 7 increases the upper limit to 7.9.

The WEI enables users to match their computer hardware performance with the performance requirements of software. For example, the Aero graphical user interface will not automatically be enabled unless the system has a WEI score of 3 or higher.

The WEI can also be used to show which part of a system would be expected to provide the greatest increase in performance when upgraded. For example a computer with the lowest subscore being its memory, would benefit more from a RAM upgrade than adding a faster hard drive (or any other component).

So get to showing screenshots of your WEI scores with the detailed performance and system information screen that actually shows what processor, how much ram, etc.. you have. CLICK DETAILED / PRINT OPTION (to show the actual parts giving the score) OR DON'T BOTHER.

Would have more RAM in this one but one of the slots is bad (only has two slots on motherboard) and thus whenever I put a stick in it, the PC fails to boot up. -_-

Here is mine from my desktop! Who knows what my laptop is like. It is my first computer I ever built--a friend picked out the parts and then beat me with a stick until I put it together correctly.

ETA: Okay, here is my laptop! It is pretty okay. I just use it to write and browse the Internet, so I don't expect anything amazing out of it, haha.

I added a bigger power supply to my PC hooked up to my TV for watching videos so I could update the GFX card to a cheap one. I also tried adding another stick of ram or replace the one that failed. Problem is I'm guessing the memory slot itself is bad because the PC refused to boot up until I removed the new stick of ram as well. -_-

However here is the before and after on that PC.

I think for $15 that was a pretty nice upgrade. =O It's a shame the memory slot doesn't seem to work as I could really use more than 1GB of RAM. -_-

Is the new stick of ram the same type as the one in the matching color slot? (Color of the hook tab thingies that hold the ram in the slot) The ram in each color slot must match the ram in the other color (if there are 4 or more slots)

I'll post my screenshot later, but my computer currently has a score of 5.0, limited by the "Graphics: Desktop performance for Windows Aero" thing.. If that was better, it would be 5.9, limited by hard disk transfer rate.

There are only two slots, and yeah all the specs are the same although not sure about brand.

Again with the wrong OC, I'm at 3.3GHz, I could easily push it to 4.0GHz.

Windows 8:

Seems a bit higher than Windows 7 probably cause it goes upto 9.9
