Upon his return, however, he can only travel halfway up in the lift and has to walk the rest of the way - unless it's raining. What is the explanation for this? I believe the answer is Orange.Ills of a scurvy crew cured by the sea,Oranges were a common fruit which were carried by sailors in the past to protect themselves from the disease scurvy. Scurvy occurs due to lack of Vitamin C and Oranges have tons of Vitamin C in them.Reason in its season but no rhyme.Also the English word "orange" has a peculiar characteristic. It can't be rhymed with any other word.So those were the reasons I picked Orange as the answer and not Lemon( it too got Vitamin C).So did I get it right?
