Kyuukai
A woman has 7 children, half of them are boys. How can this be possible?
†Emotional Outlet
If they're all boys, perhaps. Either that or one of them is transgendered! Here's some lateral thinking for you~Acting on an anonymous phone call, the police raid a house to arrest a suspected murderer. They don't know what he looks like but they know his name is John and that he is inside the house. The police bust in on a carpenter, a lorry driver, a mechanic and a fireman all playing poker. Without hesitation or communication of any kind, they immediately arrest the fireman. How do they know they've got their man?

How do they know they've got their man? This riddle's answer and the answer to falcon209's previous puzzle are related. The police know that the murderer's name is John which is also a male's name. All the other player's were women, leaving the fireman as the only male. This is how the police identified the culprit.
