You don't understand the meaning of difficulty until you fight some high rank monsters on Monster Hunter.Monster Hunter is an insanely popular series over in Japan. But if we got a Monster Hunter game on the computer I'd play the shit out of it. Too bad Monster Hunter Frontier never got released in English. Too bad Monster Hunter Frontier never got released in English.Yeah, me and friend of mine talk about how much we'd love it if they brought the series to PC. I imagine the graphics would be amazing. Also, I agree about Frontier.A lot of people have a issue with the lack of a lock on button, which the 3DS that was released a couple of weeks ago in Japan actually has one. That and the camera controls are much better too. That would probably help tone the difficulty of the monsters down as you wouldn't have to break your hand doing "The Claw" in order to control the camera in the PSP games, haha.I own Monster Hunter Tri. I have around 200+ hours of play time on my main file.Unfortunately it lacks a lot of content that the PSP ones have (surprisingly), plus Capcom is going to shut down the online servers soon if they haven't already. I liked the concept to Monster Hunter very much as it was my typical kind of game, however I just never got into it because I was craving that multiplayer aspect; of which I never really tried to go after. MH:Tri was actually my first Monster Hunter title purchase, never played any of the PSP versions prior to it.By the time I had the game, players in my area - or people that I connected to were already high-level/equipped with extremely good gear. Scavage Posted April 19, 2012 Report Share Posted April 19, 2012 i am a HUGE fan of Monster Hunter, i have the very first game from its first day release as well as the second (japanese and english patch versions) i have every psp release japanese and english patched as well as Tri and if anyone is a true die hard fan and wish to play an online computer version look up Hunter Blade it is a complete "rip off" of monster hunter for the pc with updated missions every so often and a mage like weapon "hunting horn" so if your looking for the next monster hunter fix and want it for the PC get Hunter Blade Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I didn't care much for tri, but I must have spent weeks on the psp titles a piece. Me and my friends used to play it a lot, there must've been about 12 or 13 of us with the game. I definitely wasn't the best, but was quite a high level *puffs chest*. XPI do believe Ren and Nero figured out a way to play MHFU online, via an internet connection and pirate OS.
