The whole live action anime thing is an iffy subject. The only good live action animes I've ever found were from japan, but even though they weren't as good as the original. But they also have to get the characters right or else it will kinda suckApparently there is going to be a live-action movie of Cowboy Bebop with Keanu Reeves as Spike.I think a live-action of Baccano would be interesting, due to Baccano not being a long anime I think they could get the majority of the plot in. BluWolfTigerEye Posted January 3, 2012 Report Share Posted January 3, 2012 i dont think anything mecha would be good to do even though it's easily one of my most favorite genre's, because hollowood would either spend too much time on CG action packed battles, or too much time on developing character. that's the reason why I believe that most(if not all) mecha anime is 26+ episodes in length.Darker than BlackDeath NoteEden of the EastGhost in the Shell(albeit would need a lot of money) are all good choices and could be made into a movie(GITS would need a trilogy, DTB would need a sequel and DN would need a part 1 and 2)Also I don't think any over the top type supere power animes could work either i.e.bleach, naruto.i would really love to see high school of the dead done, minus the ecchi and probably will be done at some point in the near future. Thank christ for that.I love the mech genre so much but as far as live-action goes... just don't go there.Dragon Ball and The last Airbender where so disappointing, it's very off putting. Yeah I agree, they would never be able to go to theaters with the way it is now. They would have to take a lot out in order to make anything that would be presentable in a public theater.
