Vegapunk's message hijacks just about every Transponder Snail around the globe, including locations relevant to the Straw Hats. And just as Luffy is standing his ground against Saturn and Kizaru, what looks like orbital weaponry rains upon their location. Or something.

The other Elder Stars make landfall to back up Saturn, as one of them gets to work and disables the Pacifistas. Another one, Jupiter, uses his sandworm form to swallow Luffy whole - who then gets saved by Broggy and Dorry. Elsewhere, Jinbei tries to find and retrieve Zoro, who lands a good blow against Lucci.

As Jinbei grabs Zoro and runs, a big bird asks Lucci where York is before going to find her and squash some pests. Broggy and Dorry stand their ground alongside Luffy who pulls some more Looney Tunes/Popeye shenanigans against the other Elder Stars. Kizaru is wounded, and the metal giant that Vegapunk had been studying gets up once more, who then says, "Sorry, Joyboy."

And for the next 3 weeks, the One Piece  manga will be on break. Let Oda rest and not overwork himself. That and Toriyama's passing had hit everyone pretty hard.

We see where Vegapunk’s brain is housed and wow it’s gotten big.
Turns out there’s plenty of decoy Transponder Snails about so no one can stop the important transmission.

The other Elder Stars continue to be problematic, including Saturn now going after Robin.

And the chapter ends with Vegapunk’s message saying the world will sink into the sea.

Vegapunk's message continues, with him now saying a mega earthquake will rock the world at some point. And that the waters will rise at least 1 meter in most places, or more, thus losing more land to the sea. We see Mother Flame in its container, and then the message go one about the Void Century. Of course reactions varied. Edison tries his damndest to let the Straw Hats escape. And then Vegapunk tells us Joyboy was the first man on the sea to be called a pirate.

The pirate crew that imitated the Straw Hats before they departed for Fishman Island are in the brig of Naval Base G-4 where the leader has at some point decided to imitate Kidd instead. Vegapunk then tells us Joyboy was enemies with the precursors to the present day World Government known at the time as the Alliance. No known reasons as to what sparked the conflict, but apparently Joyboy's place of origin was super advanced. And that the Void Century came to a close when Joyboy was beaten, but not before leaving permanent scars across the globe. The current One Piece world stands atop a previous civilization that sank into the waters during that Void Century when they rose to 200 meters. And said conflict from that time never ended - they continue now no thanks to the Ancient Weapons that sank the world into the seas 800 years ago.

Vegapunk then tells the world he’s attempted to an energy source to power the world, though incomplete, which is the Mother Flame. And a small piece had been taken… which powered the weapon that destroyed Lulusia.
Which is no thanks to York, who atole said piece, and apparently narrows down that the transponder snail broadcasting the message is actually protected by the iron giant under Favriophase.
Also Roger’s crew had learned the truth about what actually happened during the Void Century.

Jinbei does a fastball special with Zoro and tosses him at an Elder Star that was about to slash the Sunny. Some of the higher ranked Marines do push back against the Giants as they ready to depart. And just as Vegapunk's message was about to reveal something about those who have D in their name, the remaining Elder Star pummel the metal giant carrying the transmission, which seemingly stops.

As the metal giant slowly sinks into the seas, and thus ending Vegapunk's last transmission, York and the Elder Stars head to wipe out the other Vegapunks as well. Bonney was able to turn some of the Marines into kids to stall them, and then is able to copy Luffy's Gear 5 - who also resumes said form. And the sinking metal giant may or may not be sentient and can sense Joyboy is nearby.

With a combo attack thanks to Bonney, Franky, and Sanji, Luffy is able to send one Elder Star flying. And while that took the steam out of Bonney, the metal giant gets up again, which also resumes Vegapunk's transmission. Another Elder Star pops up as an eel that spits out the missing Cipher Pol agents, then tries sucking up the escaping ships before Luffy punched it real good. And just before the menacing boar rams the boats, the metal giant surfaces and punches the bad pig, breaking a tusk in the process. And the metal giant says to "remember Emet," whatever that means.

We get a brief flashback of Stella and Clover talking outside of Punk Hazard just when the latter started working there. Before she could intercept an Elder Star, Atlas knocked out Lilith as to make the enemy think she's gone, and so the Thousand Sunny bursts out of there. The iron giant makes its last stand so Luffy and the group he's with can also escape. Vegapunk's message goes on to say Roger's crew from decades ago may or may not have heard voices of the past during their world voyage.

This was really interesting, because it's more likely that Roger's crew did not hear the "voices of the past" as most of the "voices" respond only to "Joyboy". :D

Vegapunk continues explaining that continents sinking in the past were because of man-made disasters caused by the ancient weapons, which inexplicably includes the extermination of rare races (including but not limited to Lunarians, multi-eyed people, Buccaneers, etc.). Bonney and Luffy are surprisingly able to land hits on Saturn, who gets sent flying. And Stella's message concludes this chapter saying whomever finds One Piece decides the world's fate.

People around the world interpret Vegapunk's words as that not only is the One Piece real, but that a pirate will eventually control everything. Koby resolves to stop Luffy's dream, Caribou is seemingly getting his wish to meet Blackbeard, the iron giant unleashes Conqueror's Haki stored in it to push back the Elder Stars (which also somehow affected Imu), and we get a flashback of the metal giant talking to Joyboy.

Luffy and co celebrate as they escape the Marines and set sail to Elbaph. We then get a flashback of Stella, Shaka, and Pythagoras finding out the Mother Flame was tampered with and that York betrayed them. So they recorded the long message Stella put out to the world then erased those memories up to a certain point before we cut back to present day.

Vivi and Wapol are still guests of Morgans (who continues making clickbait-y/misleading headlines), Sentomaru is sailing away from Egghead while Kizaru laments over recent events, Lilith is fine (who then says the other Vegapunks are still alive somehow), then the actual celebrations are underway as Luffy's gloomy mood is lifted and they all sail to Elbaph. And a mysterious person who may or may not be awaiting them.

Unless it's already been established, the Elder Stars, or at least Saturn, were around at least 200 years ago as they attempted to research the iron giant and what it's capable of. The whiny Celestial Dragons whine about their food storage and of course throw tantrums in their holy land. And Garling becomes the new Godhead of Science for the Elder Stars - as Imu eliminates Saturn for letting Joyboy escape.

The Straw Hats and co proceed to party after everything that went down. Bonney is happily reunited with Kuma as they watch the horizon at sea. The Red Haired Pirates confront Black Bart after the latter burned a flag in a territory protected by the Red Haired crew, and Bartolomew's ship sinks when they thought they were let go. Blackbeard is displeased what happened to his island while he was gone, but glad to have Garp as a hostage. And after they partied hard, the Giants and Straw Hats find that not only is the Thousand Sunny missing, but so are some of their companions. And we see Nami in new clothes in what looks like a toyhouse, or whatever passes as LEGO in this universe.
