In the meantime, Drake is pulling his weight by holding Apoo at bay, Sanji is still held hostage, Yamato reveals she met Ace years ago, Marco gets his time to shine, & now Big Mom and Kaido sit as they await for the island to land at the latter's intended destination. Marco throws Zoro to the roof to catch up with Luffy, Kidd, Killer, & Law where they all confront Big Mom & Kaido. After checking on Kinemon, Luffy then goes Gear 3rd & gives Kaido a taste of what's to come. Seems we're all fired up for what's next. Though some good hits did impact Kaido some more. Predaking-117 Posted February 2, 2021 Report Share Posted February 2, 2021 As Luffy and co. continue to hammer away at Kaido, Linlin strikes them with her lightning - which of course doesn't work on Luffy since most people either forget or don't know he's made of rubber. And Zoro almost got a good hit in on Kaido. This leaves Zoro trying to keep him out of harm's way & the others to weather the combined assault from Big Mom & Kaido, the latter seemingly going into his man-beast form by the end. And while Sanji is still subdued at the moment, someone else is tending to Kinemon and the other injured samurai. This week, Chopper manages to make a cure for this ice virus - while also making it clear he isn't a tanuki (and just about everyone silently apologizing). Plus we get mention of a failed artificial devil fruit using Kaido's genes being kept on Punk Hazard - hard to say if it survived or not. But for now, Zoro really gets a good hit in on Kaido, but moss head and Traffy get tramped by the big Emperor. Meanwhile, as Nami, Usopp, & Otama try to shake off the dino Zoan chasing them, they happen to come across Big Mom - whom then took out said dino Zoan after thanking Otama for restoring her memories. And Otama takes the opportunity to use that loudspeaker girl to talk to everyone. Plus Yamato engages against her dad until Luffy comes back.
