Koby
In Marvel's words:"We have made the decision to not bring Ed Norton back to portray the title role of Bruce Banner in the Avengers. Our decision is definitely not one based on monetary factors, but instead rooted in the need for an actor who embodies the creativity and collaborative spirit of our other talented cast members. The Avengers demands players who thrive working as part of an ensemble, as evidenced by Robert, Chris H, Chris E, Sam, Scarlett, and all of our talented casts. We are looking to announce a name actor who fulfills these requirements, and is passionate about the iconic role in the coming weeks."If you type in 'Why is Edward Norton not in the Avenger's' it comes up with tons of results about the news such as:http://comicbookmovie.com/fansites/MarvelFreshman/news/?a=19904As for my comment about Mark Ruffalo playing in future installments of The Hulk, well that is because a lot of the team behind the last Hulk movie was signed for a total of 3 films and Leterrier, after having previously said he did not want to direct a sequel, said in late 2009 he had changed his mind and was now amenable. So that means after Avenger's there is still the possibility of another film in the Hulk franchise being made. Also there is this comment made about the last film:"The whole thing was to envision it in multiple parts. We left a lot out on purpose. The Incredible Hulk is definitely intended as chapter one."Which further indicates plans for another film.
big_teddy
Thanks for the Koby. I wonder how well Mark will do. The only work I've seen from him was from Shutter Island.

Wasn't it like 3-4 years ago that there was even a hint of it? (first hint I remember was in Hulk, idr what year that was )

shyguysteve
I saw a trailer or teaser at the end of the captain america dvd, it looks freakin awesome.I don't think it wont be much different then the x-men movies though. both are just people from marvel and making a team to fight some sorta evil.
