Then i liked the ending of Brotherhood and I have to say the ending of Kimi ga Nozomu Eien: Next Season, though a story as a whole i liked more with the original series. idl12 Posted May 7, 2011 Report Share Posted May 7, 2011 Gurren Lagann and Darker than black, 2 shows with what I consider great endings, what can I say, I'm a sucker for sad endings especially when the sad part comes after some kind of great triumph, or if it involves someone losing the memories of all those dear to her but gets a better life in return where she will never be able to see those she forgot about again, yeah, the memory loss and permanent separation thing gets me every time. Granted, it was pretty depressing. Ed and Ein went off on their own, Spike is dead? and Faye and Jet are basically left alone. But despite all that, the ending was awesome.
