dead nation, ratchet and clank:quest for booty, infamous LBP ANDwipeout HD/fury.....pretty lame

and for psp

LittleBigPlanet PSP

ModNation PSP

Pursuit Force

Killzone Liberation

question is, which 2 is everyone getting?

That must be for another region then mine. Here is what the North American region is going to be able to choose from Sony:

http://www.g4tv.com/thefeed/blog/post/712687/sony-details-gift-offer-to-psn-users/

For those that don't want to follow the link here is a basic rundown:

PS3:

Dead Nation

inFAMOUS

LittleBigPlanet

Super Stardust HD

Wipeout HD + Fury

PSP

LittleBigPlanet (PSP)

ModNation Racers

Pursuit Force

For the PS3, you can choose any 2 and for the PSP, you can choose any 1.

For PSP, I am not really interested in any of them. For the PS3, I may get inFamous and Dead Nation.

From a business stand-point Sony still has to make money. If they offered new games to everyone then no one would have a need to buy them. Same thing with giving gift cards that just money lost. This way they can please fans and not really lose anything in return because lets face it... most who would have bought those games already have. I wouldn't have bought any of them but I can sure have fun playing them for free. I remember Wipe Out being really fun on the N64 as a kid. Not something I'd buy but something I'd definitely play if given to me.

I highly agree with Koby. These games may be old, but they are worth playing, they was GREATEST HITS! Lmfao, dont complain about the choices they are giving us. I myself have only had inFAMOUS, and wanted LBP for a while. Plus, a 20$ is shit compared to these games, since they are all over 20$... >.>

Seems the PSN Store can't handle the traffic it was getting after coming back up. I keep getting an error and when I looked it up this is what I found:

The world looked all bright and happy today as, with the morning sun pouring through my window, I turned on my PS3 and for the first time in weeks, checked into the Playstation Store. So I was understandably annoyed when I got this message whilst trying to access content: An error has occurred. (80710D36)

Here we go again, less than 24 hours after the store goes up and we’re already having problems. While I did manage to access some content (downloading the Infamous 2 demo as I type) I wasn’t so lucky elsewhere, receiving the message multiple times. Once you click out of the message it returns you to a screen empty of the content that you are so anxious to get your hands on.

Is this another attack from Anonymous or other hackers, perhaps Sony just really screwed up and haven’t implemented the Store into the new network correctly? Fortunately no, while investigating the message does come up with many references to the DDoS attacks earlier in the year, it seems that the problems are being caused by gamers, just like me, avidly downloading everything they have missed since the store was taken offline.

This problem is widespread (I’ve seen multiple posts on forums and Twitter complaining of the problem) however hopefully when the excitement dies down, things will return to normal and everything will work fine once again. The current advice doing the rounds in the Playstation forums is exit the store wait 5-10 minutes and try again.

Like I said, in all likelihood this is not serious, and should disappear soon, so don’t panic!

Umm.. you two really need to learn to read. that's exactly what the news said.
