Vegito
English Dub for me but if there is none I'll go for Sub but sometimes if I can't wait I will put up with subs xD
StaticX
I've gone back to Subbed anime mainly because I hate it when an English Voice actor cracks a corny joke in their script which would make most anime fans cringe, But I have to admit that the Voice actors have gotten alot better since the past... juni5464
I prefer English dub more that sub just because I don't like to read while am watching anime. I will watch sub if the anime is old and no news of it being dub.
GShadow942013
Its depends on the voices used so if i watch a subbed anime then watch its dubbed version i look for how the voices are with the character for example yu-gi-oh zexal, the jap voice with subbed its good , but when watching its english dubbed the voices didnt fit well with any of its characters
Markus933
When a Dub is available I will use it. If not well I don't really have a problem watching it subbed.
BeyondKnight
I prefer and will stick to dub because i like to watch my anime not read it while watching it
DarkRavie
I prefer dub. I like watching as I listen. Reading and watching is hard because sometimes the subs go by so fast I have to rewind to read them because sometimes watching doesn't give me a clue what is happening. reizerozero
I much prefer dubs, but I don't mind subs. I have to laugh at how pretentious some can get over the apparent superiority of subs. Dubs back in the day could be downright awful, but then again ever watched western cartoons back then, the voice acting in those weren't that great either. Thankfully places like funimation are doing great work with eng dubs and seem to try and match a good voice to a character. I do think they could do with more voice talent, but perhaps they have tight budgets. I think a great example of eng voice casting is the guy who voices Alucard, in Helsing, having watched both dubs, I think the english voice actor is perfect, but alas its all IMO. Regards Rei BTW: I read dubs fast, to the point that I forget I'm reading them and just for a moment, one part of my brain goes, wow I understand Japanese. Then the much smarter part goes, god I'm shackled to this idiot. Edited January 30, 2014 by reizerozero
Chaosx6
well with me I guess it depends on the anime. Usually if I watch an anime dubbed I can't watch it subbed. If the dubb is horrible though I'll watch it subbed
nabesi
I like both sub and dub.
Tornado3000
It depends on the anime for me. I will always watch Pokemon dubbed because I grew up with it dubbed. I watch pretty much everything else subbed. I did watch Monster dubbed, but later switched to subbed because I couldn't stand the English voice actors. I started to watch Hell Girl dubbed, but quit halfway through the first episode because I couldn't get used to the voices after watching it in Japanese. Long story short, the English voice actors usually don't have the same enthusiasm as the Japanese ones. ohbejuan
It depends on the anime. Some times I can't stand some of the english voice actors. And sometimes I like dubbed so I don't have to pay complete attention to the tv. Sometimes I can't keep up with the subs.

†LimitLess
English subs, most of the voice actors fit the role of their characters and they do it better in capturing the emotional side of the characters. English dubs, most of them are crap but i don't have to read while watching the anime. English subs are better. refl3x
It depends on the anime and voice of the characters!
Davidimus
Honestly I prefer to watch Anime's with English Dub that way I can actually watch the action and not have to spend majority of my time trying to read what they are saying at the bottom of the screen. I end up missing a lot of stuff when I was the English subs, just not fast enough of a reader I guess.
unclejeb1861
I think a good dub can be equally as good as the subbed version. Â There are even some series that I prefer dubbed compared the subbed version (explicitly Dutch in 'Black Lagoon')
mayanee24
I always prefer japanese dub but if the english dub is good, I choose it.
