dsteeves07
I mostly prefer dubs only because read always takes away from the action and knowing what characters are doing, but with the long animes I tend to watch subs just because I'm not patient enough to wait. Sinistra
I have a slight vision problem so trying to focus on subtitles can be quite annoying. So I am going ot have to go with the dubbed.
sonhizzz
I don't know why but i preffer watching anime english dubbed, the english voices are somehow nicer for my ear, but i don't mind watching with english subtitles if there is no dub. SgtKenzo
Depends on the anime really, with YuGiOh i much prefer the english dubs ^^
Mizar
I prefer watch English Dubs. Beats having to look at the bottom of the screen.

Astral_Goddess
I took a look at the poll results and I'm amazed at how many people prefer watching English dubbed anime. I've heard from a lot of my friends that it doesn't really matter, most even prefer the original japanese voice actors as they cue in better and have more emotion behind their acting, most of the time. infernal91
Personally for me I prefer dubs, but that depends on the anime and how much they edited it.
† Valdearg
Depends on the anime really, some Japanese things don't tend to translate well. Most of the time these days I usually watch the subs, however I always like to try out the dubs. I think a lot of the dubbing these days is a lot lower quality, though there are a few decent voice actors remaining.

All in all, the majority of anime fans are subtitled watchers. It's just Kametsu brings in a different crowd by focusing on dual-audio releases mostly. Even have a site (English Dub Kingdom) that only features anime with English dubs available.

Kid Ryan
I prefer English Dubs myself, but I will watch an anime with Japanese voices and English subtitles, if there's no English Dub. Example: I do watch Hunter x Hunter (2011) subbed.
KariyaSama
Depends on the anime but I mostly prefer the original Japanese. Dubbing goes wrong far too often lol Also helps I speak a decent amount of Japanese so I don't need to stare at subs and miss everything
danicide
I really do think it matters on the anime. Some better dubbed, some better subbed.
Tanis
It REALLY depends on the anime. Cowboy Bebop - DUB >>>>>> SUB Naruto - DUB = SUB Crest/Banner of the Stars - SUB >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> ∞ >>>>>>>>>> DUB I also prefer DUB with action heavy anime, because I usually watch them for the explosions. fang228749
english dub all the way forever
SenshiKeizu
I prefer subbed. Although I prefer to watch Afro Samurai dubbed (seems more fitting to me). Other than that I NEVER watch dubs (unless as a random curiosity).
I-Am-X
I like them both really. I started out purely as dub fan but there were some really great animes that I was interested in but there was no dub of them so, after so long resisting the urge and I checked one out and couldn't stop. If it has a dub version I wont watch it subbed unless they didn't and probably won't adapt the rest of it. And some anime are just horrible dubbed, like Rave Master (though I got bored of it after 3 subbed episodes), Medaka Box and many more. annethem
it Depends some anime just sound better in its original language because usually once dubbed the characters sound like american surfers
