DEATHxxx50bmg
Apparently the government is in debate on whether or not to pay its fighting forces this month. as of now only three states are against not paying the military but thats it. with 4.8 million on the armed services there will be a ripple affect accross the board. this may only be temporary. Whats with these liberals and polititions. im neutral but this is gone too far. whats your side. do you agree with it or not. whats you view on this issue. † L4ugh
Are you referring to the government shutdown that will most likely happen tomorrow? If so, more then just the armed forces are going to go without a paycheck. It will be all government workers and a total shutdown of all government services. Even national parks will be closed until the budget is past. It's the damn tea party that is causing the whole damn thing too. They added a bill to the budget that would cut government funding for family planning because some of the places offer abortions. Stupid thing is, there is already a law that states that the government's money can't go to funding abortions. So the only reason it's even in the bill is because they know the democrats will never pass it. That gives the tea party the government shutdown they've been after since taking office. The part I love the most is that the only government workers that will still get a paycheck will be the very people keeping everyone else from getting their's. Goldstandard90
And it's stuff like this is the reason why I've really cut back on watching the news. It just ends up pissing me off with all the stupidity.Edit: I'll elaborate more later as I honestly don't feel like it ATM plus I have stuff to do. Kasoivc
Just from common sense, not paying people for this month sounds like a horrible idea. Nobody likes getting the shaft when it comes to money. It's also quite funny how we've now run into this problem, even though we've had troops mobilized for a decade straight now. (I think WWII, we spent double digit billions, which lasted 1-4 years; this "war" on [terrorism] effectively drained our coffers since we spend much more then triple digit billions every month.)Financially I don't think our country has been thoroughly thinking out its spending plans since day one.I think the world is slowly going to hell as a result of everything happening. BP Oil Spill, Tsunami/Earthquake combo that hit Japan, followed by the chain rebellions in Africa; the list can keep going on if it wanted to. Time to turn to alchemy and forge gold bricks.

VahnDelfire
It is sad because Obama came with the promises of change and our American people are soo for themselves, they will vote for whoever shows results and I knew obama was not guna last due to how ambitious he was and how much he settled on the idea of change, but the republican and the rich democrats think otherwise they are all about keeping there money because being the "good so called Christians' that they are they are also very good at screwing the working man. also they are very good at using the government resources for there own personal gain. So now with this 38 billion dollar spending cut looming over our heads it is just a matter of time before the American people lay down and die or we rise up against the very hand that so called feeds us and take back what is rightfully ours, only 2 percent of Americans own the rest of the country in a country of 29 million that is beyond sad...actually Koby we are no longer on the gold system America got rid of that system back in Reganomics his idea was to make us being the worlds superpower at the time, was to take us for Dollar VS Dollar the American Dollar VS every other Dollar which was fine back in those years because our Exports were greater then our Imports but the funny thing about that was we are no longer that way. We import over 9 times the amount of items that we export, personally I believe this was all a plan be the "FAT CAT" bank owners who saw a way to make America worth more so they could slowly sell off to other country and export there business to mass more profit margins and pay less taxes that is what made some many billionaires in America pop up soo fast the one's you never hear about like Harlan Crow
† L4ugh
it is just a matter of time before the American people lay down and die or we rise up against the very hand that so called feeds us This is false, the gov and rich don't "feed" us anything, it's we who "feed" them instead. We elect them, pay taxes to cover their paychecks/other expenses, or buy their cheap ass shit built in china by starving kids. The wealthy and corrupt in this nation get everything from "the working man", and they do this because the masses are to cheap, lazy, and stupid to give a damn. If the main population of this nation actually started caring half as much as the citizens in other nations do over what goes on in D.C. this nation wouldn't have any problems. VahnDelfire
I was referring to the hand that feeds us being the government it is what regulates taxes and decided the future by the vote of those we elect. But you have to remember they rich are the ones that regulate everything we are the working man but money talks its what creates the weapons and the military, It is also the very foundation upon life it self and when you don't have the money and you have children to worry about and feed it is kind of hard to tell the person with the power they have to much power the only thing that will get the riches attention is if we make a strong push which would involve violence. If we do so we are undermining the very order this country stands on and only making ourselves vulnerable to ever single country in the world to attack us, it is a damned if i do damned if I don't. and I is Impossible to make it so we don't have any problems. the only thing that put our country ahead was the order we had it is the same order china has now but we fought to have more rights and more freedoms well this is where our freedoms got us we can not have everything we want but that is what Americans want everything... † L4ugh
Whole damn thing is just posturing for the upcoming election. That's all american politics are anymore. Sling mud during elections then posture until the next election year. The act of actually running this country is just a side note to them. Since the bulk of this country could care less about what goes on in D.C. nothing ever changes.

Having too much paper money out there and not enough gold to support it only weakens the US dollar further.. there is no benefit to it.There is no gold. The central banks that make up the federal reserve all ready took most of our national reserves of both gold and silver. Our current monetary system is the fractional reserve system. Long story sort our money is based on nothing, but blind faith. Don't take my word for it look up Modern Money Mechanics ,a paper that was issued by the Chicago Federal Reserve, which is an explanation of how your local bank is actually allowed to create digital money with almost every new loan they issue.www.rayservers.com/images/ModernMoneyMechanics.pdfThe only way we can get out of our national economic woes for the long term is to dismantle the federal reserve and get out of all of the "free" trade orgs and reestablish tariffs.
