nwoo2002
Princess Mononoke and Grave of the Fireflies for me. Both compelling and beautifully produced. The two soundtracks appear frequently in my Ipods shuffle!
kirathaune
The ones I would watch over (and over and over) are Spirited Away, Howl's Moving Castle and Princess Mononoke.Grave of the Fireflies was magnificent, but I don't know that I could ever watch it again... I went through a box of kleenex after that movie!
Lord_Dogg
Hard to say. I agree w/most spirited away, princess monotone, howl's moving castle, and castle in the sky are all greatness. But if you haven't seen his newest achievement (Ponyo) then your really missing out. It's definitely up there w/ Spirited Away.
fluffy_cloud
spirited away, all the way! second is howl's moving castle (even though it's story different from the book). watched my neighbour totoro but first of all need to be fresh and fully awake because the first time i watched i fell asleep in the middle of story, haha ;Dhaven't watch the others such as grave of the fireflies, nausica and tales of earthsea. will search for it and download

hayate_liger
Oh jeez this is definitely very hard to choose, but I'm going to have to go with Nausicaa and Howl's Movie Castle as my favs. I believe Kiki's Delivery Service was the first Miyazaki I have ever seen when I was a kid. subaru8
Yeah - picking out favorite and powerful moments, the list ends up like this:Princess Mononoke - when the great spirit enters the forest and shows itself as the stag drinking from the waterNaaussica - when they break through the spore forest crust and discover the pure silica and water reservoir belowSpirited Away - Her first night at the bathhouse, listening to the train, and seeing the reflections on the waterHowl's Moving Castle - when Howl gifts his special place full of flowers; and again when she travels to the past moment when Howl removes his heartHowl's Moving Castle, Totoro, Nausica. I like a lot of them but those were some of the most powerful for me. I need to finish Castle in the Sky.

Hitomi
Hayao Miyazaki is pure brilliance! The visions he creates and adventure and wonder displayed in his movies are unsurpassed! For me, "Spirited Away" tops the list. I also enjoyed "Howl's Moving Castle", "Whispers of the Heart", and "Grave of the Fireflies" (is that a Studio Ghibli film?), but I haven't actually seen all that many.
