Koby
You talking about this: http://myanimelist.net/anime/6922/Fate/stay_night:_Unlimited_Blade_Works ?If so it says it aired Jan 23, 2010. It's also a movie. Movies usually take about 8 months to come to DVD... and fansub groups don't sub from Cam rips. Therefore subtitles for this movie, if any group picks it up.. wont come out till around late October, early November at the earliest. Wake
The Fate/zero novel is part of the Fate/stay Night series that in much more detail tells the story of what happened during the Fourth War of the Holy Grail 10 years before the Fate/stay Night story starts. This deals with Shirō's foster father, Rin's father, and the younger Kotomine Kirei. The series is to be animated, but don't have info on if its to be a movie, OVA's, or series. I have not read the novel, but have watched both the Fate/stay Night anime series and movie and am quite looking forward to it, just wanted to spread the joy. Asch
Thats good to hear, I always wanted Fate/Zero to be animated, reading a novel like this was boring, specially, although I know the whole story, it would be fun to watch it. banichi
The first episode was so long and full of relatively boring background material that I have only now started to view the later episodes - it does get better, but seems to move much more slowly than Fate/Stay night. Considering how long it took to get Fate/Zero going (and how long I waited for it to come out!) I am a bit disappointed. Guess I am more oriented to action from the start! randomxmassacre
Is this the sequel to fate/stay night (which i havn't watched yet but plan too)?
lemmingllama
Is this the sequel to fate/stay night (which i havn't watched yet but plan too)?I think that its actually a prequel. And its supposed to be even better than fate/stay night too.
Wake
I think that its actually a prequel. And its supposed to be even better than fate/stay night too.You are correct this happened 10 years before the story of Fate/stay Night. @banichiI really don't think you know good pacing when you see it. So far I have absolutely nothing to complain about. I mean there are always little nitpicks on a show, but even that is a very short list for me. If they didn't do what they did in the first episode no one would be able to make sense of anything at all. This show has a lot of fighting in it and some great fighting at that, but that's not what this show is about, it's about the story lines of the characters and how everything is intertwined in some way you wouldn't expect. That's what makes this show great. And do remember this is based off a RPG storyline game not a strict fighting game. Though it came out in novel form it was written to be a game, like Fate/stay Night.
DrumRoll
I enjoyed fate/stay night. But this isn't exactly set to knock my socks off it seems....I'll wait a little longer before I consider watching this.
Thimink
I enjoy the Fate-Unlimited blade works so much and I think the Stay/Night should be the same. I was a little bit disappointed.
