Eureka 7 vs Gurren Lagann

Voted for Gurren Lagann because it is more epic that Eureka 7 + the plot got into me although the ending is somewhat... let's say a mixture of "heart-breaking", "regret" and "satisfaction".

Finally someone else who appreciates the ending for what it is.,, I think?

Haters gonna hate I guess lol, some of us find the ending was a masterpiece just like the entire series, some were just expecting a completely happy ending where everyone lived happily ever after and were disappointed in the last 5 minutes of the final episode lol, I for one like tragic endings and since this ending was pretty heavy on losses, I guess it appealed to me, I honestly don't see how else it could have ended at that point, the only thing I hated about the end was that it was in fact the end, but at least it didn't go on forever and turn to be a load of crap like a couple of other shows I know.

I won't enter the poll yet since I've only seen Eureka Seven.

Although I'll just say that Eureka Seven for me was absolutely brilliant, it makes me want to re-watch it again and again (but it won't cause that always makes the anime loose the feeling and essence it first gave you).

Eureka7 is a great series, but I cant say that it beats Gurren Lagann simply because it doesnt have the passionate characters required to surpass GL.

i loved eureka 7 but gurren lagann just brought this energy that puts it ahead. both are a nice treat though.

both the animes were great and i loved them both. but i would say guren lagann as it caught my mind of interest the most compared with eureka 7. they're both great its just that some animes have their ups and downs a bit in some episodes and so i most probably didn't feel that much of it in guran lagann. hence i would say guren lagann is a little more fun to watch than eureka 7

i saw a little bit of eureka seven and it was pretty good.

i thought it went a little overboard on the cheese factor from time to time and in some episodes i found myself looking around the room instead of at my tv.

i have yet to see gurren lagann but it sounds like it would be a little better for me.

It seems i tied it up. Eureka 7 for me. The love felt great and character development was fantastic. The drama, the animations, the plot was excellent. I used to be my favorite for a long time.

I watched a few episodes of eureka 7. It's definitely not for me! In fact, I got a little bored and almost fell asleep at times.

I just started watching gurren lagann. I'd say I'm definitely not a big fan of mecha genres, BUT ... after just watching the 1 st few episodes of gurren lagann, I am actually kinda hooked. That says ALOT for me, someone who isn't into mecha really at all. It might be the 1 mecha anime that successfully gets a satisfactory rating from me.
