Koby Posted June 17, 2017 Report Share Posted June 17, 2017 The second anime season based on Hajime Isayama's Attack on Titan manga ended on Saturday, and the season finale announced that the third season will premiere in 2018. The second season premiered in Japan on 21 networks, including Tokyo MX and MBS, on April 1. Funimation began streaming a simulcast version on the same day, and Crunchyroll is also streaming the series. Funimation announced in December that it licensed the second anime season. I doubt 9 months is enough to produce a 2-cour series, especially given Wit's schedule. And after the stunt they pulled with season 2 I don't see a reason to get my hopes up. I'll believe it when I see the 13th episode of S3 with my own eyes. Edit: ignore this stuff. S3 airs summer 2018, not spring. Funimation was wrong.
